The train's doors clicked open simultaneously and waves of soldiers alighted. They moved swiftly and without sound. An invisible army. An opening had been formed in the thick forestation which surrounded the clearing, the soldiers marching through. Beyond that point lines of infantry striped the extensive fields, stretched impossibly long. The footsteps of infantry and the mechanical clicking of tank tracks formed an uncanny rhythm.
Ahead was the border. Soldiers crossing the metal platforms that laid across the narrow river, acting as makeshift bridges. A line of Sarkish flags planted neatly on the other side.
