"General, this doesn't look good for us." The colonel said as they looked down at a war map of the bulbasaur reichpact, where the otaku republic had just lost control of the Capitol.
The colonel looked back to the general "We're supporting the wrong side." The general interjected. "Exactly. We just need to make sure they lose." The colonel stared at them like the general had lost it. "Colonel Gresham, send over the special shipment of rifles to the Otaku Republic." A colonel in the room saluted the general and walked out to deliver orders. The "special rifles" were engineered to back fire in a fight.
"Colonel Williams. Attempt to get communications with the loyalists up and running." A second Colonel saluted and left the room. "Now for you, Colonel Carol, make sure thos XLAF tank brigades are late to every battle." The colonel leaning on the war map covered table smiled and saluted the general, before promptly saluting the general, and leaving the room.

The rifles sent to the Otaku republic commonly exploded in battle, and the XLAF was always late to the fight, and mostly evading capture as XLAF radio engineers attempted to get communications with bulbasaur reichpact loyalists up and running.

The army decided to abandon the attack and instead take the town of dunsparce to get supplies,
The soon set up a base of operations there,
Although they where unable to take the city they did through the otaku supply line disarray
