In my honest opinion - yes, it very much was. It was scummy, unneeded, pitiful, and absolutely ridiculous.
But I suppose it hardly matters now - now that I'm gone from that community, and I prefer it like that. TNP RP can be way too awful.

Neither we (moderation) or carto were notified of anything whatsoever in the slightest and were expected to psychically know that this was going on as we received no message of any sort that this was occurring, when a single message on the discord, dms, or tgs could have sufficed. Instead one day out of nowhere everything was gone and we had to put in a lot of effort to fix that. So when the question came up about his stay we decided that due to the way things were handled that the hiatus was denied and as such reapplication would be in order, with the option that if we were given a well meant apology for putting us through this, we would reverse it as we do understand that real life can take a toll on a person.
Instead amongst other vulgarities the decision was called "r*tarded" and that me and Vapia were, quote, "Babboons that f*cked up in our own drool" end quote. Now this of course is not the proper way to respond, especially in a situation such as this. However this is still not enough to warrant a ban or anything of the sort and we understood that he might not have been happy and as such he is more than welcome to rejoin if he wishes to follow proper reapplication procedure.
However so far this has not occurred and instead spreading lies and twisting the story in a way that does not hold a shred of truth to it is. Do not just believe anything people say, there's two sides to every story, especially ones like this.

You were there when the moderator team (unironically, PART of the team) when they set that 30K was the maximum pixels a returning nation should have got.
You left the server and eventually the region, burning bridges on your behest to avoid us from establishing any contact, because we were all under a false assumption that you were in a period of hiatus and that you MADE IT CLEAR that you don't want any contact, even most specifically, from us. How do you expect that the team would not remove you in such a circumstance like that?
Not to mention, you sure had a lot of time moving regions left to right, while on hiatus as you claimed. Maybe you should reconsider who to red-tag next time, and think about your own actions that you caused by yourself. You abandoned your duties while you were serving your role as an RMB moderator, and nobody gets away with no dire consequences from doing so. You burned bridges with us, you F/O'd a whole slew of people, you disappeared without a trace and reappear, like nothing happened and expecting the same flow of things, and when you don't get what you wanted, you freak out like a child which you personally hated when you were in office.
