Declaration of the Central Administration of OSEAN Regarding Policy Towards The Honourable League

Recent events have come to pass that although ultimately inconsequential towards the greater scope of Strangereal, have stirred up conflict between OSEAN and HoLe. It is our opinion that such conflict ultimately lies in insufficient notice of our policies towards the organization, which we will here seek to rectify.

Firstly, we repudiate the pretensions of HoLe to creating universal international law and affirm the sovereign rights of all nations that have not entered into such contracts as to individually affirm their acceptance of such law to their complete independence in internal affairs. We also condemn the attempts of HoLe to violate the rule of individual sovereignty with their demands and attempts at investigation and intervention in events in which they have no part. HoLe, being like all alliances, a voluntary association of nations, and with no appreciable differences from any alliances for the purposes of international affairs, will be treated in the same way as any other alliance.

It is here that we shall state our final and permanent policy towards the organization of the Honourable League: HoLe shall have no part in the affairs of OSEAN nations unless said nations have individually agreed to the interference of HoLe, whether by statement or by membership in the organization. Any attempt at HoLe to interfere with the affairs of OSEAN nations that have not given notice of their permission shall be construed as hostility towards said OSEAN nations and shall be treated in a manner similar as if said interference was being conducted by any ordinary nation.
