The Boldness of Jon Roxton is a massive, genial nation, renowned for its compulsory military service, punitive income tax rates, and devotion to social welfare. The democratic, devout population of 1.006 billion Roxtons are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Spirituality, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of the Ring. The average income tax rate is 61.0%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped Roxton economy, worth 36.5 trillion golden dragons a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is dominated by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Uranium Mining, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Automobile Manufacturing. Average income is 36,254 golden dragons, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas and Jon Roxton has designated the Ring as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Jon Roxton's national animal is the wolverine.

Jon Roxton is ranked 186,908^th in the world and 2^nd in Morghul for Largest Pizza Delivery Sector, scoring 225.06 on the Pepperoni Propulsion Productivity Index.
