The Kingdom of Los Demonios is a huge, orderly nation, renowned for its public floggings, fear of technology, and frequent executions. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 434 million Demonians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Spirituality, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sulfur Lake. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 59.1%.

The Demonian economy, worth 30.1 trillion dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched black market in Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 69,320 dollars, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 254,461 per year while the poor average 13,364, a ratio of 19.0 to 1.

Screams of citizens being "re-educated" echo throughout the rural regions of Los Demonios, an increasingly villainous series of sports coaches are demanding the national mascot's true identity, drowning sailors are hung out to dry, and the phrase "you might think that but I couldn't possibly comment" is the closest you'll get to a straight answer from Demonian politicians. Crime is moderate, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Los Demonios's national animal is the vicken, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Los Demonios is ranked 224,533rd in the world and 11th in MegaCorp for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring -5.29 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
