In the early hours of November 28th, a Coast Guard station just south of Rettungsleine received a call. A clearly panicked and startled man was on the other end, and he claimed something truly extraordinary had happened.

Caller [in a panicked voice]: "SHIPS! WARSHIPS! LOADS OF THEM!"

Coast Guard: "Excuse me sir, what exactly do you see?"

Caller: "THERE'S, AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, A DESTROYER I THINK? MAYBE A.. GOOD LORD WHAT IS HAPPENING!? THIS IS A FISHING ROUTE!"

Coast Guard: "Give me a moment sir" - "There aren't any naval operations in that area. Can you see the naval ensign?"

Caller: "I'm away, **** that was scary. Um, I think, hold on gimme a minute" - "It's like.. blue, white and... beige I think?"

Coast Guard: "Blue, white, beige. Nothing matches that flag on our database. We'll send a patrol out, thank you for your co-operation sir."

A group of coast guard patrol vessels were immediately dispatched, heading in the general direction of the fisherman's location. Behind the veil of calmness and professionalism, the upper command became worried. A group of unidentified warships of unknown origin were just outside Evacasian waters, the situation was serious to say the least.

As the group approached the location, an aircraft was sighted overhead. The insignia on the plane were unmistakable: it was Blayredeshian. Startled by the observation, the coast guard turned back and headed towards the mainland. They alerted the Evacasian navy, fearful they had stumbled across a potential warzone.

After hours of buildup, a small fleet was dispatched to the site. It consisted of a light cruiser, 3 destroyers, and small cruise liner with a diplomatic team on board. The appearance of the fleet was carefully designed in advance. The cruise liner was to sail in the lead to show the peaceful nature of the mission, with the warship's cannons pointing away from the unidentified fleet.

As they approached the fleet, a message was broadcast to them:

"This is a diplomatic mission from the Republic of Evacasia. Your fleet is currently unidentified: we request to know your country of origin."

RP: "Hello there"

The small assortment of ships was tracked on radar as they approached, and, when they contacted the fleet, there was no response given to the Evacasian vessels. As time wore on, another small group of specks appeared on the horizon. The Demitorian 5th Fleet was arriving to assist in the operations, unbeknownst to the vessels already on station. As the Evacasian vessels were identified, they were each assigned an identifier. The new flagship of the Demitorian group, a small nuclear-powered battlecruiser, got the identifiers as they were transmitted around the Demitorian vessels. The new arrivals consisted of the aforementioned battlecruiser, another two nuclear-powered cruisers, three aviation ships, and a helicopter carrier. As the cruiseliner approached, it's electronic systems would've stopped working, and all communication with the outside world would be shut off.

This would occur with the other ships that were not Demitorian and were within a five-mile radius of the cruise liner. It was clear that electronic jamming equipment was being used to keep the presence of the size of the fleet from getting to the outside world. The two cruisers and a couple of other warships would encircle the evacasian ships, cutting them off from trying to run back to the coastline. The evacasian sailors would be able to see activity on the ships surrounding them, most notably the turrets of the battlecruisers beginning to move.

As for the Blayredeshian aircraft, that was detected on radar and not identified as being from them until it came into view of the combined power of the short-range radars of the ships. As the aircraft was tracked, it was also jammed by the warships.

A group of aircraft left the decks of the escort carriers and aviation ships in between ferrying aircraft. They flew around the Evacasian ships, in pursuit of the aircraft. It was clear they wanted this done quickly.

Reports have surfaced from Salis that the Blayredeshian Airforce has begun mobilizing a force of 800 fighter jets and 400 bombers to fly south and begin a widespread bombing campaign against the socialist forces of The gatisland. When these jets will depart from their base in Fort Bonnet is a mystery and many suspects that an operation will begin within the coming days. In other news 350 of Blayredeshia's Warships and its 10 submarines have begun to convene at Port Justice as it has become apparent to many that the Blayredeshians are assembling a fleet there in addition to the 30 Warships reserved for coastal defense and the 20 Warships used for convoy escorts in Blayredeshia's oceanic trade. It is estimated that it will be another week at the most before the fleet is fully gathered. Due to the fact, the fleet has chosen to convene at Port Justice many suspects the Blayredeshians plan on using it within the Bay of Pontricare. In addition to this, a small flight of 4 Fighter Jets have reportedly flown into international waters and are headed to the southern half of the Pontricare Bay to keep an eye out for the Demitor ships there while another small flight of 4 fighter jets has reportedly flown across the Bay to survey the Demitor Coast although current information suggests that in both cases the Blayredeshian jets are staying out of Demitor airspace so that Demitor can't justify retaliation.

RP: Alert

The numerous powerful air defense radars established among the Demitorian coastline would track the aircraft along the boundaries of Demitorian airspace as they traveled. Several Titan IV and Ressi II air defense missile batteries were already on standby and tracked the aircraft with their own radars, their operators monitoring how closely they got to come into their own air defense sector, fingers on the launch triggers. Several fighter-interceptor squadrons were put on alert all up and down the coast, as well as reports of full convoys of tracked and wheeled missile systems being moved to the front. Small MANPADS were mounted on trucks, as well as antiaircraft guns to provide another defensive layer, as to just be an annoyance and distraction rather than be really effective.

As that was occurring, several towns and villages along the coastline were suddenly visited by troops of the Internal Security Bureau, and "evacuated" in the middle of the night. The only persons allowed to remain were police officers, firefighters, and the local militia. The entirety of the east became under the control of the predetermined combined defense units, removing civil control of that part of the country until further notice. All news media besides the state-run media were shut down, shows canceled, and programming changed to allow for the communications infrastructure to be utilized by the military and government.

In the capitol, several nations embassies, including those of Kemonomica and Etrius, were subjected to the same "evacuation". They were given the choice of moving to an undisclosed government complex far deeper in one of the mountains or returning to their home countries for the duration of the evacuation period as determined by the government. The ones that decided to stay would travel to the Union National Command Complex with the rest of the essential government far underground, still without any knowledge of what was occurring.

As for the naval developments across the Strait, the Navy had been monitoring the activities through the usage of satellites in orbit, as well as their own radars. A line of lightly armed radar picket ships was placed at the boundaries of the Demitorian territorial waters to achieve a better picture of what was occurring. As what was happening on land, naval reservists were called into active duty and placed mostly in construction and coastal defense units; constructing defensive fortifications and setting up both more air defense systems and surface to surface missile launchers. The resurrection of the 1st Naval Front, a unit designation only used in wartime to identify a grouping of the majority of the naval assets, was a clear sign that Demitor was preparing for an encounter. Numerous ports across the east were filled with the arrivals of several destroyers, cruisers, frigates, destroyer escorts, and corvettes establishing their temporary homes. Already at sea, the three supercarriers of the Demitorian Navy were accompanied by two modernized battleships and an assortment of other warships. They would be joined by the new arrivals as time passed, with some ships being reportedly detached and sent southwards to an undisclosed part of the strait. The whereabouts of the sixteen SSBNs and thirty SSN's that are under the control of the 2nd Submarine Squadron are unknown, though rumors run rampant.

Everything is being prepared.

RP: Defense

The 32nd Air Defense Regiment, one of the first units on the ground in The gatisland in support of the socialist government, had been setting up as more and more of the entire regiment arrived during the airlift. They had three mobile radars, a command and control trailer, seventeen launchers with six missiles each, five radar-guided SPAAGs, and three Long Tom hypersonic interceptor missile launchers with three of the new missile each. They were mostly positioned, and those that had not arrived yet still had their places already made and established for the equipment. The operators were at their posts, with a shift change in a short time, they would be able to relax soon enough.

That would all change.

At the command center for the 3rd Air Defense Brigade, of which the 32nd is a subordinate unit, several more powerful radars are under the direct command of the Brigade Headquarters. Operators there turned to their screens in disbelief, as several dots soon became several more, and they just kept growing with each sweep of the radar. They soon relayed this to the Headquarters staff of the Demitorian Expeditionary Force, the title of the Demitorian armed response in Gatisland. That report then turned into an Emergency Action Report or EAR. EAR's were the highest and most prioritized combat alert, signifying an imminent engagement or threat to the unit issuing the report. This triggered an immediate response all throughout the Demitorian Military, as this might be the start to something bigger.

Immediately, fighter-interceptor pilots raced from their quarters as a shrill voice in a monotone voice said the words no fighter pilot ever wants to hear:

"Scramble, Scramble, Scramble"

Demitorian pilots soon were in their cockpits, with the incoming threats closing in, raced down the taxiways, and lined up for takeoff. As there was still an active airlift ongoing, incoming cargo and support aircraft meant to support the ground troops were re-routed to other airports further south, or were diverted back to their origin points. The fighter escorts these transports had, already being airborne, were the first ones to "respond" to the threat. Soon, the sound of afterburners and sonic booms filled the skies over northern Gatisland, as several dozen fighter squadrons rushed to get all their aircraft into the air. They were all given clear orders to eliminate all unidentified aircraft approaching, and so, they had met with the spark that might just trigger something larger.

Demitorian fighters and interceptors were armed with an assortment of weaponry, with most interceptors carrying variants of the aging AIM-54 Phoenix missile modernized to include better targeting and better reliability. Some interceptors, most notably those of the Council Flight of the Union escorting the top officials of the state or of the famed 10th Air Interceptor Wing, the "Red Swarm." These interceptors carry AAM versions of the Long Tom hypersonic missile. Normal and multirole fighters carry an assortment of medium range missile types and short-range missile types depending on the type 0f aircraft, configuration, and main mission profile.

As the air components of the defense were activated, the tracking and targeting radars of the numerous air to air missile batteries started painting the numerous targets for the several launchers. As they got firing solutions prepared, the SPAAG's got their barrels heated up and their systems put into tracking mode as well. They were prepared in case any aircraft got through. Several CWIS emplacements were also powered on and their barrels heated up to ensure the safety of the defenses from any munition that is dropped from the approaching aircraft.

As word of the impending attack spread to numerous facets of the military, several more squadrons of interceptor drones were launched from the numerous ships supporting the airlift. These drones were super maneuverable, but only had one 30mm cannon and a weapons bay for four short-range, two medium-range or one Long Tom AAM. They were going to be late to the fight but would be a welcome reinforcement for the engaged defenders.

Before the aircraft came into the line of sight of the short-range radars of some of the fighters, the first to shoot were the Long Tom armed aircraft and batteries. If someone was to look in the night sky in far northern Gatisland, they would hear the sonic boom of hypersonic missiles in their short boost phase as they zeroed in on their targets. What followed next was a slew of AIM-54's, hopefully, to capitalize on the intended panic the Long Tom's would cause.

RP: Magyarorzag Breaks into Civil War Following Rumanian Withdrawal
Debrecen, Rumania - Weeks after the Rumanian withdrawal from Carpathia, Magyarorzag entered into a civil war between the Diakok and a democratic coalition called the Southern Alliance. Democratic forces hold much of the nation, including the capital Debrecen, and major cities such as Pest and Pecs, while the Diakok remain in the northern mountain ranges. The Diakok have kept with their guerrilla and terror tactics against the poorly equipped Southern Alliance.

RP: Archronian Destroyer Sunk in Diakok Attack
The Archronian Destroyer ACS Pec in Navodari port was attacked and sunk by the Diakok the other day. The Diakok carried out the attack using a rubber dingy filled with explosives, moving quickly next to the ship before detonating all the explosives, blowing a massive hole in the side of the ship from the waterline to the deck. The ship quickly took on water and capsized, losses are unknown, and a formal report by the Navy of The Archron empire is expected to detail the losses.

Determined to ensure that Pyongbaek remains out of danger from the front, the East Kowenian military has begun to amass a force in an attempt to encircle Artaecusian forces enroute to Pyongbaek (along with the few Werewolf Islands forces that are there, since the bulk of them are still en route to the East Kowenian coast)

After about six hours of intense artillery barrages, an East Kowenian military force began to engage Artaecusian and Werewolf forces who were roughly 20km away from Pyongbaek. The attack was mainly spearheaded by infantry and armored personnel carriers, with light and medium tanks in a supportive role. The goal of the East Kowenians are to force the joint military away from the road to the city and to a remote part of the coast.

The group of East Kowenian military personnel is estimated to have a force of:
-1,000 light tanks and "tankettes"
-500 medium tanks
-Over one million infantry
-500 pieces of artillery

Tong Hung San has ran aground off the coast of Canadra following a small storm in the region. The Tong Hung San was an oil tanker that had been carrying about forty metric tonnes of refined Archron empire oil as part of the agreement between Archron and North Kowen.

The ship had run aground in the middle of the night in a storm, and shortly after running aground the ship had sent a distress signal to the nearest Canadran port and the captain of the Tong Hung San gave the order to abandon ship. Within two hours of the tanker running aground, the crew and captain were all accounted for after making their way to Canadra. The local Canadara authorities though are confused on what to do with the Kowenian crew. Should they release the crew to make plans to return back to North Kowen or should they detained for a further investigation and possibly press charges against the crew/captain.

The ship is currently leaking it's supply of oil into the waters surronding the Canadra coast which is washing ashore on the southern part of the country. It is assumed it could potentially impact the southern part of the coastal marine life of Canadra.

RP: Prepared for all cases

For days Kiros has been the hub of transmissions detailing what seems to be half of the world's nations preparing for full scale war. The Defense Commission is at three quarters capacity with both First Admiral Natalia as well as Second General Saleem away on diplomatic missions that could take some time. Abdul Attar was not a happy Prime Minister.

Reinforcements and supplies are being shipped to The snake rivers tribes to support possible engagements the First Admiral may experience if hostilities spill into the archipelago she was tasked to defend. The Shield fleets and airforce are also being placed under a 24 hour readiness alert in case of Etrian interests come under attack.

The nation is preparing for a war they may not even be directly involved, but an old saying persisted "The man who sleeps with sword in hand is unreasonable all nights but one"

The embassy staff will be returning to the Federation via Naval escort by a detachment of the Southern Shield Fleet consisting of a half dozen Nova Class guided missile destroyers. The staff would like to thank their hosts for their hospitality and hope to return when tensions cease.

The cabinet was fully assembled within the room dubbed the 'Doom Room' by one of the ministers in the early days of the administration. It was meant as a joke back in those days with many within the cabinet believing that they would not have to enter the room save for an end-of-the-nation scenario, and yet here they all were, analyzing the situations both at home and abroad. The Military Intelligence Bureau had been hard at work for the last month gathering information on the enemy forces from allied nations. Apparently, Kemonomica had previous dealings with them and had several citizens residing in the nation. That situation had now devolved into a precarious hostage situation in which Serene Ether forces would have to move carefully in order to avoid the worst-case scenario. Another nation, the Lirana Empire, had sour relations with Luwuia and were willing to host Xin-Fael military forces in some of their bases. It was certainly a boon, although the current status of the Xin-Fael Navy as a defense force with limited amphibious and power projection capabilities seriously negated that advantage.

The situation in the room was mixed. As operators, intelligence officers, and military personnel poured over information that was streaming in from the four corners of the nation, the members of the cabinet sat, some idly and some attentively, at a large round desk. Before them were outdated maps, reports from the beaches, and newspapers detailing the protests in the streets of just about every major city. It was tiring work, and while all of the members had expected to give their all to unification, this was not what they had in mind.

Lan Xichen, Minister of National Defense: "As you can see here on this satellite image, Luwuia is moving large numbers of troops and material to their ports. I believe that a large invasion force is in the making and will soon be underway. We need to allocate more resources to the construction of that seawall."

Reniedir Saithor, Minister of Finance: "But we've already allocated hundreds of millions to that project. Any more people and we would be running a deficit, and you know that the people are already riled up about the extra taxes. Can we be sure that the invasion force is directed at us? Those images are weeks old!"

Dúlindis Henirel, Minister of Culture: (under her breath) "If there's one thing that unites the people, it's a hate for taxes."

Lan Xichen: "And that is precisely why we must speed up construction. We honestly don't have a clue what the state of their preparation is. During our last satellite flyby, the picture didn't properly take. We are using outdated technology unsuited for worldwide intelligence gathering."

Prime Minister Wei Wuxian sighs and begins to rub his temples. They had been stuck here for several days and the massive screens combined with poor lighting had begun to take a toll of his eyesight. The constant bickering between his cabinet members, particularly Lan and Saithor, had made everyone tired, even him. Wei was about to speak up when an army officer ran into the room waving a manila folder.

Messenger: "Prime Minister, sir! We have just received a message from the Luwuians. They are requesting for peace negotiations and have offered to release the bio-synthetics they are holding captive!"

Wei Wuxian: "What!? Let me see the folder."

Quickly snatching the folder, the Xin-Fael Prime Minister quickly read through the report detailing the Luwuian's request to enter into negotiations.

Wei Wuxian: "This is excellent news! Notify the Luwuians that we are willing to negotiate. I will send the terms soon. Thank you, messenger."

Bowing quickly, the messenger quickly scurries away, having other tasks to attend to. Now, all the eyes of the cabinet were upon the Prime Minister. Anyone who was nodding out of the conversation is now fully awake and fully attentive.

Lan Xichen: "Wei, we musn't act too rashly in this situation. This may be a trick to lure us into a sense of assurance."

Wei Wuxian: "I know Lan, but this is too good of an opportunity to pass up. We have shown the world that we are capable of defending our own borders and now we have a chance to end this war before we drown in death and debt. Begin drafting a response. Our terms are that Luwuia send their Vice President to negotiate the terms of peace. As a sign of trust, the Vice President will come unarmed and without guard personnel. They are to also bring the four captive bio-synthetics to Xin-Fael. We can never trust what we see."

The moonshadow elf members of the cabinet and those moonshadow elf staff who overheard the comment smiled at the comment. They still remembered the story of how Wei Wuxian was tricked into eating a plate full of bugs by a moonshadow elf illusionist when he was still traveling throughout the island.

Wei Wuxian: "Send a message to our allies in Kemonomica as well and have them send delegates as well. I am sure that they will want to ensure the safety of their people firsthand. Alright people, let's move. We've got a lot to plan for."

An official agreement to peace negotiations was sent to Luwuian officials. Under specific terms, the Xin-Fael Federation would agree to host negotiations on behalf of itself. There were several terms for the meeting to take place, however:

- The negotiations would take place in the Xin-Fael Federation

- The Vice President of Luwuia will represent the state of Luwuia in these negotiations

- The Vice President of Luwuia is to arrive unarmed in an unarmed ship with no guards as a sign of goodwill

- Luwuia will escort the four bio-synthetic prisoners to the Xin-Fael Federation to prove that the Luwuians are truthful in their claims

- Delegates of Kemonomica will be permitted to examine the bio-synthetics to prove that the Luwuians are truthful in their claims

These five terms are sent to Luwuia along with the handwritten letter of invitation by Prime Minister Wei Wuxian directed towards the Vice President welcoming him to the Xin-Fael Federation. The Federation now awaits a response.

I will board a flight after the state dinner, though you are to remain as a sign of solidarity"

The Etrian Foriegn Minister looked mildly discomforted by receiving orders from one he saw as a subordinate, however he knew in times of war the defense commission superseded all but the Prime Minister himself.

As this is happening, the Kavastori government suggests signing contracts with the Commerce Gild to speed up rebuilding as well as signing deals for the Trade Clans to move such materials as efficiently as possible.

The Kavastori government is gladdened by this, but still naturally remains wary. The Governemnt has also propsed that, to prove the good intentions of the two sides, that Nonadian government sign free trade agreements to increase the economic presence of both side in the other's nation as well as a non-aggression pact to help quiet any worries that might arise.

RP: Sure, But one condition

Luwuia will be glad to accept these terms on the condition that all deals with Dwarf land4 pertaining to the current war be put on pause. The President will arrive separately from the Prisoners in the Presidential Cruise Ship while the Prisoners will arrive on a Luwuian Navy prisoner transport ship with armed guards that will stay on the ship upon arrival and will, if requested dock at a separate port.

The Cruise Ship was picked up on RADAR and Satellite Imaging prompting a response from the Luwuian Military, 4 F-34 Stealth Fighters fly to the ship and drop 2 500Ibs JDAMs per fighter onto the ship with 2 of them going back in to fire missiles and their main gun to ensure the complete destruction of the ship

The Diplomats sent to Luwuia by Icewindia have been detained by Luwuian Federal Police and are currently being sent to a military prison complex in a classified location where they will most likely undergo aggressive interrogation for information.

The Airforce scrambles in the area's affected by Icewindian attacks with 10 F-34's going in the air every 6 minutes(two runways per airforce base), Once the fighters are in the air they begin targeting all Icewindian Aircraft with Short, Medium and Long Range Guided Missiles.

The Naval Invasion that was being prepared has been cancelled and all military units involved are being tasked with defending Luwuia. Since 99% of the Luwuian Navy is in Luwuia ships begin protection the coast forming almost a complete blockade with the Luwuian Navy requesting permission to assume command of Great eastern esta's entire Navy.

The 2.5 Million National Guardsmen inside Luwuia begin deploying into every major Luwuian City and begin setting up AA/AT Defenses and Anti-Infantry Defenses too. Since the entire Luwuian Army and Marine Corps is in Luwuia they are on standby and are being organized into QRF forces to respond anywhere within Luwuia in a matter of hours(manpower in excess of 10 Million)
