Vieinia wrote:The audacity to assume that I just randomly started talking about it. Remind you, if anyone should be the one who brought it up, it should be Laforeia for the classic "Trans Rights is Human Rights" statement. And have you ever heard of, "ANALOGIES"? If you truly dont want us to "shove it down your throat", DONT OPEN YOUR MOUTH. If you dont care about our community, we CAN respect it. But using words like "audacity", or "randomly" when clearly the people talking about it just want to talk about it in a safe-space? The only reason why I tried to compare the two is because some people dont know the difference between pride and overcoming of struggles. The RMB is several peoples safespace, and people like you who practically lie by saying we are the ones who force this against everyone else, is breaking the safe space, their 2nd hone where they truly feel loved, making them seem like they are in the wrong. And before you mention me using the word "audacity" as well, being hypocritical, you should know I was just trying to match how you worded it.

Well, don't be surprised if people call out these "analogies" with their own opinions. Comparing the formation of a nation and claiming patriarchy is similar to pride activism is nonsense. You brought this example up, so own it, maybe it wasn't the best comparison to make but it certainly wasn't appropriate. You should also consider that this is a safe space for people to avoid discussion of sexuality and keep it around fictional nations and subjects related to that. I don't recall anyone commenting or saying anything in the discussion board before that "Trans Rights" comment, so in context, it was absolutely random to throw that in there.

The trans rights comment is just a reminder that the TNP is LGBTQIA friendly. And fine, yes the analogy wasnt exactly correct, and I agree with you that I should have just done a simpler explanation on my part, but I was never talking to anyone else outside in the rmb, asides from the one that I was quoting. Yes, I completely understand and respect giving your opinion, but barging into someones conversation is not a way of "avoiding discussion of sexuality" as you literally joined the discussion. If you have a clashing opinion, try just ignoring us.

My first train set[1963]

This thread on the forum is basically a blog about my model railway adventures, detailing the many aspects of the hobby and my personal journey.

My journey started over 50 years ago, starting with a train set and, hopefully soon, a very large layout.

I hope those of you who have a passion for trains have as much entertainment with this thread as I'm sure I will.

For more goings on please check out my thread on the forum in TNP's Community Center, Bulletin Board.
