What an excellent counter point. Is Bing so drunk to tell you that Ireland and Germany are the same size?

What territory he can claim with a small population

Bucre not understanding that Germany is much bigger than he originally thought..

That isn't a valid argument. Just because you're using a search engine doesn't mean you're right...

Yes I did. And ok, I'll send the money.

What the heck. Why do you assume that he cant claim Germany with 5 mln people? You do realise that there weren't 80 million people in Germany in let's say 1 AD?

Back then, yes. But my experience on here so far has taught me that claiming territory has to correlate in population. Thus, he would be able to claim a province, but not the entire nation of Germany

That is not how you rp. Not to mention that we dont have an official map of earth. Although it would be nice for all nations to be relatively small there is absolutely no reason he shouldnt have Germany. Maybe except of course the fact that the likelihood of him becoming another 3 Reich ripoff increases

In what context is this the best argument for the post you quoted?

Some nation is claiming to own a massive country in their universe while not having the population to realistically keep hold of it and thus is being heavily scrutinized for it, or at least that what I got from what I briefly reading through it.

I stand corrected. Partly.

Yeah but the fact is that populations dont grow 500k a day in the modern world. Do they? Thus I dont really think that NS population metric is really that compatible with roleplay, but since I claim to have a smaller population than stats dictate i have no problems

Wubdich wrote:I stand corrected. Partly.

I mean... let me say that as someone who takes the entirely of Antarctica canonically, population does not equal nation size.

You're not making sense.

I just asked you how this:

My comment was simply meant to inform you, I wasn't arguing for either side.

Bucre wrote:The stats dictate

That still is not a response to their question.

Yes.

Bucre wrote:The stats dictate

Still not what I was asking.

Are Bing results different, especially on an IRL nation's numbers, that your previous claims are valid?

Now I've started to think a little and the existence of a shared map of nations seems more and more ridiculous. There are inevitably going to be nations that do large time skips or say that each day a month passes. That causes a lot of temporal anomalies. Not to mention that the population stat is going to keep growing the average of 500k people in universe. Also the fact that population stat cannot be decreased in my opinion makes it quite invalid for rp usage
