This is a backstory on the Quentopian Leader, Julian Vlasis’s life. Don’t be concerned about any families arguing in this relating to my personal life, this is just for the stories sake.

Julians mom, Hannah. has been in labor for around 8 hours, starting unfortunately in the middle of the night. “Push… it’s coming out soon!” The doctor yells. “We’re parents… wow,” Julian’s dad, James, looked at Julian with a blissful and serene look, this was a wonderful moment for the two parents, and even though they didn’t know it yet, he’d soon grow up to be the leader of Quentopia. “It’s a boy!” The doctor announced. “Why don’t we name our little sweetie… Julian?” Hannah suggested. “That’s a wonderful name!” The parents looked at eachother like the most happy people in the world, and in that moment, they were.

“Stupid… stupid, stupid! I swear to god I f***ing told you to get the kid a larger carriage, he’s too big for the old ones! When will you listen to me!?” The dad slammed his fist against the wall. The Vlasis family lived in a relatively large two story suburban house. “I can’t… always tell these things well, okay? Stop expecting me to do everything!” Hannah rebutted. His dad looked at her with a frustrated expression. “Ignorant b*tch,” Julian, who was around 5 at this time, began to cry. “Oh Julie… it’s okay, Mama will always be there for you… even if we get mad sometimes, it’s just because we love you so much!” His mom comforted him. “Your dad can be a little bit rude sometimes… daddy can be a little bit mean,”

Julian’s dad was a salesman, making a salary of 150,000 Quentis a year. His dad always encouraged Julian to be tough, and discouraged any “Girly” emotions. This added even more layers to the depths of Julians emotion hiding, he was scolded every time he cried, which was now a rare coincidence. Shortly after his parents divorce, His mom got a job as a grocery store worker, it didnt make nearly enough money, but the law assured her that she would get support as a single mother.

Julian was a smart kid, when other kids were using their “QuenPads” and mindlessly scrolling through social media, he was reading about history, politics and other useful things. He was in fact, a genius, at the age of 10 he had the reading level equivalent to someone around the age of 25, he learned things like economics, politics, the environment, and world history. At school though, Julian seemed to not display his “Brilliance” as much. He had troubles with arithmetics and history, despite his genius in the matter, he didn’t seem to care much about the subject in elementary school. His parents got divorced when he was only 7, he didnt get to know the two together, but their short and violent arguing led him to being void in emotion, not talking to people about his feelings. At school he didn’t talk to other kids much, usually just taking the time to read a book or do something else of his own interest.

When he was 10, however, his rather gloomy life changed for the better. His mom was ready for another kid, but being divorced, relatively poor, and not ready to marry again, she looked for adoption, while at the adoption center, Julian and his mother were looking at a few of the kids. “Hey, Julian, you should come here and meet your future brother!” His mother was excited to bring another kid into the family. “I’m coming,” Julian said. He was relatively bored and waiting to leave, when suddenly his mom brought a 5 year old little kid with the name of Romeo. “Hey, this is Julian, he’s gonna be your big brother!” Romeo was a dark skinned Quentopian, his mother died in childbirth and his dad was unknown of. Right as Julian was about to walk away out of boredom, Romeo spoke. “Hiii!”. Julian looked at his soon to be younger brother with a confused look. “You look supa dupa cool! Want to be my best friend?” Romeo held his hand for a high five. “Come on Julian,” His mom nudged him. Julian high fived his future brother. “It’s nice to meet you, I guess,” Julian said indifferently. They returned home to his moms apartment. “Now Romeo, you will be sleeping on the second floor, on a bunk bed with Julian,” “Yay!” Romeo was happy, and Julian didn’t really seem to care at all.

At that moment, there was a knock on the apartment door, his mom opened it. “Hannah…” His dad came in. “I don’t want you here!” His mom said. “What’s wrong with you!” His dad lashed out. Romeo and Julian were sitting in the living room, Julian had put on a kids TV show to keep him occupied. Romeo was startled by the music and started crying. “Shhhhhh… it’s okay…” Julian said, trying to hide his emotions. “Why couldn’t you stay with me, build a REAL family!” “What I’m building is a real family! Without any of your… lashing out! You need to leave my house, and leave my family alone!” His dad got closer into the apartment. “YOUR family? I’ve been raising Julian to be a real man-“ “You’ve been poisoning him, tearing this family apart, after this, you won’t even be SEEING Julian!” Snap! Outraged by his Ex’s treatment of him, he slapped her wide across the face.
During the rest of that night, Julian and Romeo witnessed truly horrible things that it would be best not to describe in detail. Julians dad was put in Jail for 20 years, and he was forced to pay hefty amounts of fines to his mom. Later that night, Julian was awake crying in the top of the bunk bed. Romeo came up and rested his head on his lap.

Julian was 12 years old doing his homework and listening to music in his bunk on his headphones, Romeo was 7 and reading comics. “Hey Julian, can we listen to some music together?” Romeo asked. “No Romeo, listen to some music on your own,” Julian showed his usual apathy to his brother. Romeo snatched the headphones off of Julians head. “Romeo, give those back!” Julian said. “No, I want to listen!” Romeo put on the headphones and started listening to the music.

Casey Jones you better, watch your speed! 🎵”

“Big bro, this is really good, why dont we listen together on the speaker!”

Julian agreed. For the remaining years they spent together, they would always listen to music together…
