I had a really fun Austria-Hungary game in Battlefield 1 yesterday. We were under siege, standing inside our forts as the enemy bombarded us with artillery and tried to swarm the entrances. It was great, we won that game.
The Alps, us vs Italy
Love that map. Its so funny to see the Italians try to take the bunkers, and failing. Yesterday, I played as the Italians, and drove a tank up the mountains to take the first bunker in the offensive type match. Imagine, you are sniping from the mountains, easy kills, but next thing you know, a tank shows up. It was a british tank, so i just memed it.
Yeah, we had groups at each entrance lobbing grenades(Anti-tank, gas, fire, stick, etc), we had medics dropping heals and revives, everyone in the fort was doing their part to protect the glory of the Empire.
I love it when i'm the AH, because I can just camp inside the bunkers as a medic and heal my comrades who died
My Medic streak ended when the other medic stood 7 meters away from my body and didn't move, so I wasn't revived. I went back to Assult after that.
Thats the most annoying thing ever. There'd be a medic less than 10 meters away, but oh noo, they are too focused on fighting than healing and reviving you. Thats why I do my job as a medic. I charge in, getting myself killed, just to revive one dude.

Hell yeah. You know on the American-German map in the forest, and that one area with the artillery next to the bunker that is always exploding? Yeah, i charge into explosions to revive some poor soul that died there

Yeah. It's why I play medic. I see some medic players only use the healing for themselves, but my goal is to help and save as many of my teammates as possible. I'd argue Medic is the most important class, because with no medic if a defender dies then there's one less person to defend the objective, and on offense with no medic if someone dies that's one less reinforcement.

Exactly. Medics are important. I play on console, with a controller, so assault is fairly difficult, sniping with a scope is hard, without a scope i have to use close range, and a support is eh, so playing medic is right for me. Easy, and I can save my teammates

Yeah, console sucks for most classes. I only do well as Assult because I use a shotgun and have decently high infantry sensitivity. Support, I use for the mortar and miss most of my shots, Sniper I can't aim with at all, I refuse to play tank, plane, or cavalry. I just wish I had better guns unlocked for medic, then I'd get more kills.
