That's the exact reason you should trust a politician.

I recommend Atheism if only for the hilarity of seeing Issue results. For instance, there's this one issue where if you choose a certain outcome it'll say "vacationing atheists find @@FAITH@@'s holy books make great doorstops" or something like that; so imagine having Atheism as a state religion and you get comedy gold like that.

Same thing goes for the national animal. If you get the issue that allows you to clone the feather-bellied @@ANIMAL@@, you can rename your species the feather-bellied @@ANIMAL@@ and it'll say "scientists have recently cloned the feather-bellied feather-bellied @@ANIMAL@@."

*sniff*

That's my boi!

Er, you mean the Special Purpose Aggressive Reconnaissance, Tactical, Augmented, Non-conventional soldier units, the Improved Mobile Mechanized Offensive and Reactive Tactical Assault Legionaries, and the Centrally Enhanced Nanoaugumented Tactical Unit, Reactive Interface, Offensive, Nexus?

Before the update fixed me, I was at 27.9 Lifespan.

I assume they are all Julian Delphikis.

You can look in Factbooks and National Information for topics that ask these sorts of questions, or make one yourself. I'm sure there's been a few threads asking nations how they treat various sexualities.

Legend :

Primitive — Everything until the Industrial age, 2650 UC (350 BCE) onwards.
Basic Tech — Comparable to RL WW1.
Moderate Tech — Comparable to RL WW2.
Modern Tech — Equivalent to RL Cold War for T1 and Millennial Tech (you're witnessing this era IRL) for T2.
Near Future Tech — Viable tech that is being researched now; the technology being prototyped or better. Expected to be operational in 40 years or less.
Intermediate Future Tech — Plausible Hypothetical Concepts. Prerequisite technology exists. Estimated to be invented in 100 years or less.
Far Future Tech — Implausible yet believable Hypothetical Concepts. Not sure of viability, since based on NFT & IFT inventions, but has proposed approaches.
Technocracy — FFT, but on the spacefaring and global scales. Technology permeates most aspects of life.
Singularity — You are the Technology. Having reached the pinnacle, the focus has shifted to other aspects such as global welfare, world philosophy, or stability.[/box]

More Reliance on Air Transport
More reliance on hacking and the electronic warfare(Use of IT Industry to do that)
Rise of Drones,(As scouting and not important combat roles)
More mobile troops

Far Future Tech
Will continue when I can think about it.

Revised "Tech" timeline
Using the World War era, a total of thirty one years (rounded down to 30), as a baseline, use 100 SA for each "tech era" of the RMB RP.

  • 1914 - 1945 = Basic and Moderate Tech

  • 1945 - 1975 = T1/2 Modern Tech (Cold War/Millennial)

  • 1975 - 2005 = T1/2 Near Future Tech (Prototype/Commercial)

  • 2005 - 2035 = T1/2 Intermediate Future Tech (Prototype/Science-Military)

  • 2035 - 2065 = T3 IFT/T1 Far Future Tech

  • 2065 - 2095 = T2/3 Far Future Tech

  • 2095 - 2125 = T1/2 Technocracy

  • 2125 - 2155 = T3 Technocracy/Stagnant Singularity

Seems pretty simplistic, no? It does take into account the Kudzu effect where NS allows you to skyrocket your SA to ludicrous levels in just six months, never mind the amount of progress you can make in a year and more. So a different sort of scale is needed, one that doesn't assume SA is like playing a video game where progression is a natural consequence of picking the right choices. Because, in real life, our technological rate of advancement is very unique. For the majority of human history, we were stuck at -∞ to 0, or basically "primitive" tech, never mind that this primitive tech laid the foundations for everything that came after it.

The first one was a logarithmic scale. Here's an exponential scale by the power of two and ascending. Here things will get weird. Using the World War era, a total of thirty one years (rounded down to 30), as a baseline, use 100 SA for these tech eras of the RMB RP.

  • 1914 - 1945 = Basic and Moderate Tech

  • 1945 - 1975 = T1/2 Modern Tech (Cold War/Millennial)

  • 1975 - 2005 = T1/2 Near Future Tech (Prototype/Commercial)

Now instead of adding 30 after each tech era, multiply them. For Intermediate Future Tech and T1 FFT, double 30 to 60.

  • 2005 - 2065 = T1/2 Intermediate Future Tech (Prototype/Science-Military)

  • 2065 - 2125 = T3 IFT/T1 Far Future Tech

For the rest of FFT, double 60 to 120.

  • 2125 - 2245 = T2/3 Far Future Tech

Double 120 to 240.

  • 2245 - 2485 = T1/2 Technocracy

Lastly, double 240 to 480.

  • 2485 - 2965 = T3 Technocracy/Stagnant Singularity

All in all, we have almost a thousand years of technological progression, relatively speaking, if we're going by real-world scale. Most sci-fi takes place during the 22nd-25th centuries, so the imagination is the limit, but limitations regarding exactly what kind of OP tech still apply, because Arembia's resources are finite.

  • 1914 - 1945 = Basic and Moderate Tech

  • 1945 - 1975 = T1/2 Modern Tech (Cold War/Millennial)

  • 1975 - 2005 = T1/2 Near Future Tech (Prototype/Commercial)

  • 2005 - 2065 = T1/2 Intermediate Future Tech (Prototype/Science-Military)

  • 2065 - 2125 = T3 IFT/T1 Far Future Tech

  • 2125 - 2245 = T2/3 Far Future Tech

  • 2245 - 2485 = T1/2 Technocracy

  • 2485 - 2965 = T3 Technocracy/Stagnant Singularity

Read dispatch

Quite interesting. Singularity at post 2900 makes perfect sense. If Arembians need a year reference for better intuition in the Advancement Scale, we can build upon this to have a canon one.

There is no anti-longist party. Besides, longism is second most popular party in Novoblupolia. Our President is from rabbit party (libertarians).
