You know what? I want to gamble it. I have few states I can win somehow. By the way, we are talking about that "challange icon" on the nation overview section right? Let's not mistakenly start an RP war or something XD

I find it amazing that the number one world wonder is literally a slab of concrete so large it’s starting to break reality

Hello

If anyone here is thinking about going to graduate school DON'T.

(I mean you can but I'm dying over here)

I mean it's not too bad... If you are good at it

Ah, I hear you friend.

What I was wrong about that people in here would actually balanced individuals -probably enjoying the profession we both in, both knowing how to have fun and how to be disciplined. Neverthless, I left to choose between two extremes:
-Stay isolated nerd, like I used to the before.
-Or, completely change and give up my personal values.

Ironically, these might be my thoughts, you can tell me I can go and find friends right? But when you run into situations where university students behave like middle school students... I don't even want to add what to do in case of something like this.

It's not so much that it is difficult but more so the work load is intense

I should force people to join treachery! As we’ve seen with Xcountry’s tournament it is difficult to find willing participants.

Every time you mention Treachery, it hurts me. I have absolutely no energy for it right now. But I'd like to play. And I'm sure there are other people who would like to play but can't

Haha it's impossible to socialize. I'm an international student and only associate with my girlfriend honestly.

14 April 2024

Today, the second day of the Summit between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the Armed Republic of Skalliad concluded with the signing of an agreement between the two parties to restrict the use of non-conventional, biological, and nuclear weapons. Although we believe that the core issues of the Summit have not as yet been fully, or adequately addressed, the Government of the USSR is hopeful that this agreement will lead to a lasting peace between our two countries.

Unfortunately, the Summit has also ended prematurely, due to intense squabbling between the Haitian delegates on either side. Although we are disappointed by this, the two delegations have nevertheless agreed to meet again at a later date for further face-to-face talks. The Government of the USSR is pleased with this outcome, and looks forward to continuing to strongly argue for the position that we believe is the correct way forward for the Haitian people, the Soviet people, the people of Skalliad, the peoples of the various Caribbean states, and for the people of the world.

The Soviet Government wishes to thank the Government of Montecrux for hosting this Summit, and wishes to convey our deepest thanks and appreciation to His Serene Highness The Prince of Montecrux for his gracious hospitality during this period. The Prince has been more than generous with his time efforts to make certain that this Summit was a success. For that, we are ever grateful.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
Third Vice Deputy Chairman of the Council of Defense of the Soviet Union.
Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Hero of the Soviet Union.
Hero of Socialist Labour.

Lucky you! I am not an international student and probably will be for one term next year. I really wonder, if this is isolation, what would be there? Not to mention I don't have one. XD

I studied 9th grade for less than half a year then immediately moved to 10 grade this January then it being in April, now we have to suffer the next year in grade 11 because of the weird school curriculum, all because we have to score 98% in government exams (these are no joke)

I think it is because the government decides about education just like in NationStates XD For %5 increase in economy, decrasing public education -%20 etc. XD Oh, well, until the very end of the main exams, one for going to specific highschool, one for going to the university; our education system changed twice just to sabotage me. Imagine this, you prepare yourself the exam you know and then you hear newer one will replaced older, just in one day.

Please, if my sarcastic tone is bothering, it is just because I am so used to think all of these worst possible scenarious in here. These aren't joke, right? However, why do I feel like a "plaything" referred by a dictator? When you consider yourself as a "plaything" we can realize, yes these aren't joke but classic little bit trollin I mean, why not just randomly change education system over whatever insignificant reason more important then our children's future?

Trick of the light innit.

Oh, ok ty. :)

Tis fine, I don’t expect everyone to be able to play. I’m fortunate i’ve had a 4 week break from my course hence all the time I have. Plus you’re at war with sovietskogo. Alas as said break comes to an end so does treacherous opportunities.

Weed is legal and all drugs are decriminalised in St Scarlett as of December 2023.

I hear stories of isolation in uni and it makes me think of my own experience. I managed to make a bunch of friends whom I treasure greatly.

Sadly, having left uni for a year out I do not socialise anywhere near as much as I was and it was already somewhat difficult outside of the two days we went in as I don’t have the get up and go freedom that others have (damn medical issues). It’s not an easy journey to get to the uni (which i do still have access to as a result of not having completely left) making it harder to see them. Furthermore any other friends I have are even further away with their own friend group.

My new course is better in terms of workload, it’s a lot more practical, however, the vast majority are middle aged or elderly women whom are very well educated, I don’t relate at all. We don’t even get to socialise much.

Nationstates is my biggest social activity at the moment and not by choice (No offence).

Is loneliness a problem for others here? I’d be interested to hear others stories.

oh fkn great I spent my last 40 minutes writing a debate/dispatch and accidentaly closed the window im killing myself.

Long live, NationStates!

im back guys
