- Based off of Socialism
- An algorithm shows where goods are distributed according to need (Syndicasia); therefore there is no need for citizens to have money
- Money is still in use though, for dealing with international issues due to other nations being capitalist
- A direct democracy is in place; meaning the people directly vote on legislation rather than for a representative to do so instead (Syndicasia)
- Joining the nation is voluntary; it should be easy to become a citizen or to emigrate from the country
- To make the country less of an anarchy, a system called “Worker Self-Management” is in place, where workers have complete freedom to run their businesses so long as it doesn’t contradict the social plan, the social plan being the roadmap to the common goal that the whole country elected (Arctic Lands)

I would like to announce my candidacy! TLA needs new and bold ideas!
For a new assembly!
I am Venusian Soviets, Venera for short. I have been in TLA since I joined NationStates, in July 2022. I have been a member of the 27th, 28th 29th, 30th, and 31st General Assemblies, Speaker for the 29th General Assembly, Minister of Information for the 2nd and 3rd Podria Cabinets, Vice Secretary for the 1st MLoP cabinet, and Co-Minister of Community Affairs for the 2nd MLoP cabinet.
Despite the expansion of the Ministry of Community Affairs, that has not been enough to make community events better or more common. I will support non government-organized community events, that truly come from the community! A Venera administration would also do more to handle the influx of nations from manual recruitment, with strengthened moderation to preserve community quality, and creating programs to help new nations get involved.
A major problem with our region is lack of participation in government and government programs, specifically voting in elections, involvement in the General Assembly, and ROSE participation, especially with the recent issues for ROSE hosting. A Venera administration would create programs for new nations to help them get involved, such as pairing them up with more experienced nations to help them learn the ropes,
modify the ROSE system to reward nations based on how many they endorse, and make efforts towards fixing the ROSE hosting problem.
One of TLA's main priorities should be strengthening NSLeft Alliances. Under my leadership, we would encourage more interregional cooperation, including possible interregional game nights. TLA will also put more effort into diplomacy, ensuring all our ambassador positions are filled, and gaining formal relations with more regions by arranging diplomatic missions to non-embassy regions.
Leftism on NationStates is in a very different situation from in the past. I will encourage membership in and coordination with The Red Fleet and other leftist and anti-fascist military organizations. I will also help advance the interregional leftist cause by reaching out to the members of non-leftist regions. This will be done through various methods, such as a newsletter distributed throughout NationStates (using an NVKD-style telegram system, API bots, and RMB posts through the aforementioned diplomatic missions) so that nations in non-leftist regions understand leftism and our cause.
