Everyone!
Sil Dorsett's AMA starts now!
Be sure to mention him only if you got a question.
What is this?
After the success of the last two seasons, the ask-me-anything (AMA) series hosted on the Regional Message Board (RMB) will resume once again, this time with a few new faces. This series is meant to allow the nations of The North Pacific to get to know their government officials more intimately. Each week, one government official will spend an hour answering any questions that are asked of them on the RMB.
What kind of questions can I ask?
You can ask anything as long as it appropriate for the RMB! NationStates site rules still apply.
How do I ask a question?
Simply head on over to the RMB during the AMA time slot, and lodge a message with your question. Please make sure to mention the government official in your message so it doesn't get missed.
When does Meet the RMB take place?
Meet the RMB is scheduled to take place every Saturday (preferably) for the remainder of the term. The exact times may vary depending on the government official's availability. Please keep an eye on this dispatch, as it will be updated frequently.
Who will be featured in this series?
This series will be kicked off with AMAs featuring the Delegate and their Cabinet. We hope to expand this event to include the Vice Delegate, Speaker, Attorney General, Court Justices, and other government officials in the near future.

Meowdy, Sil Dorsett!!
Being VD does that mean you have Authority over The Northern Light and their cards? And can you make them send me heaps of legendaries?

Greetings! My third AMA (counting the impromptu one) has now begun. Looking forward to a new set of questions, hopefully different from anything you've all done in the past two AMAs.

First off, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to have yourself be the subject of today’s “Meet the RMB”. Though I was unable to be available for Bobberino’s yesterday afternoon, I am glad that I get to sit in for yours!
Now, as for my first question:
I know that this is your second term serving as the Vice-Delegate of the North Pacific, consecutively. But, what I’m more interested to know is what were your roles in government prior to this and what do believe has ead to you being as successful as you are today?

Hi Sil Dorsett! Wasn't here for the first two, I hope this hasn't been asked. Where did you get your name from?

Webster’s dictionary states that furniture is, “equipment that is necessary, useful, or desirable”
Depending on the person; does this mean furniture can be anything? Am I furniture?

Prior to being Vice Delegate, I was a 4-time Minister of World Assembly Affairs and a 1-time Minister of Foreign affairs. What got me started was the keen eye of another MoWA that gave me a chance and Maximum Effort. Being dedicated enough to be MoWA for all of 2017 was what I got me noticed.

As I have been told, the jobs of the Delegate and the Vice-Delegate are very different in nature. As the presiding official of the Security Council, have you ever found it difficult to encourage endotarting across the board?
If not, what’s something that you believe the Security Council and its members can and should improve upon in the near future?
El Fiji Grande, Zazumo, Queen yuno, Sil Dorsett, and 1 otherLorigia
The random generator provided the "Sil" part. I replaced the second part of the name with "Dorsett" as a reference to the ruling princely family. It's kinda like how Saudi Arabia is Arabia, ruled by the Saud family.
Well, I play 4 the most, but I have a special place in my heart for 2. I just couldn't get into 3 for some reason...
I will answer all of these after time has expired, so that I can get other peoples questions answered.

A common misconception is that the Vice-Delegacy is a stepping stone to the Delegacy itself, which obviously isn’t the case. Though, having said that, have you ever considered yourself as a frontrunner for the highest public office available given your long-standing dedication and unwavering commitment to the community?
More so, if not, then where do you believe your talents and your set of skills are best utilized in terms of how to most efficiently serve the region?

You mentioned that you’re a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, one-time even, so let’s talk about what that experience was like for a moment if you will:
Having a healthy foreign policy is undoubtedly a vital component when it comes to the success factor of a Delegate’s administration. What were some of your main takeaways from your time at the helm of such an area of focus and where do you foresee our foreign policy’s vision shifting to in the coming year?
