"To Know All Things in Life is True Power"

The Oracle of Wolkestein, almost known as the Wolkestein Castle is an Arcane location located somewhere deep within the North Oskaari Mountains, around the border of Hillebrandberg and Krukenburg. The Arcane Location is home to Thee Oracle of Wolkestein who is a confirmed Arcane-User that has lived in the hidden location for over reportedly 1280 Years as of 2020. The Arcane Location has drifted in and out of existence on multiple locations and is not currently located by the Oskaari Military Institute of Arcane Phenomena since December of 2010. While its Location is unknown a fare amount of information is known on what inhabits the illusive location.

Studies in the early 1800s found great amounts of evidence of its construction all the way back to the early 720s and at its latest, September of 757, further historical evidence was found with the discovery of a few journals stored deep within the Oskaari Mountain Range in a locked chest. The Discovery in 1861 contained a brief and basic yet important sketch of a map of the Wolkestein castle; not only that but a tale of the woman who wrote it.

The Tale told of Elsa, the surprisingly-educated Princess of Naamstraten, Elsa the IV, 2nd Daughter of the "Tobias the Kind", King of Naamstraten. The Documents detail the princesses findings on the said illusive Wolkestein Castle with her quest to completely understand then attempt to find the famous castle and to understand its quirks. The Found Documents concluded that in order to find the Castle, you have to be befitting of the knowledge that they will tell you. It doesn't matter if you are the richest man in all of the land or the poorest peasant in the world, the Arcane Castle will not appear to you. Only when you become ready to hear the wisdom you are almost teleported to the Castle. In the near end of the documents Elsa did recount her interaction with the Castle before the writing devolves into crazy scribbles and jumble, its believed that Elsa was driven mad by her prophecy that thee Oracle gave.

This insight gave the then newly founded Oskaari Military Institute of Arcane Phenomena (O.M.v.A.P.) an idea on its research. Its doctrine that it formed basic of its perception in Literature and its almost mythical relationship with the common background was shattered by a few real accounts. Ever since the Foundation of Project Unseen Eyes in the late 1950s, the O.M.v.A.P. has hunted down/tracked down people that claim to have verifiable evidence of their encounter. This task of finding and checking those who claim to have found the Oracle is a long and grueling task for the Administration but yet it has flipped over more than a few rocks. Countless information regarding the Oracle herself, the structures and, the surrounding landscape has been uncovered in 63 Years. A photo of the location was however painted by a high-functioning Autist, Ingo Ungers in late 1991 that has been spread throughout the land and is widely accepted, (even by the Administration itself), to be an actual painting of the Wolkestein Castle with testimonies to acquaint it.

The Oracle

The Military Institute has a surprisingly lack of information regarding the Oracle Herself, despite the amount of Research, Time, and Money they've put into researching her and her domain. The Most Information they've gathered over the years has been by Testimonies and Documents found in Digsites, like those that found Elsa's Journal. The Oracle is believed to be a deity of some sort, a living god that balances their Humanity and Etherealness, walking the thin line and allowing themselves to be witnessed as a person yet retains all their supernatural powers. Its believed that the Oracle herself is Millions of Years old; however awoke at the start of the 8th Century and Commanded for the Construction of the Wolkestein Castle as a place of Permanent Residence and Wisdom.

Based on Testimonies the "General Character" of her has been built within Government Files. She's Softspoken, Polite, Timid, and Welcoming yet can be Demeaning and Shaming depending on the Interaction with Specific Peoples. She has ghost-white skin and can commonly be seen wearing a silky-white night gown or nothing at all, with flowers and other plant life seemingly sprouting from her head area. She Commonly resides in a pool of white, milk-colored liquid, which is believed by the Government to be linked to her Appearance as a Normal Human and Preservation of her Mortal Body.

Its believed that there is some Limit to her Arcane powers however. Clairvoyance seems to be her main Arcane Ability, however some testimonies say she can create Matter with nothing more than the Raising of her her hand, and its her that teleports the castle in and out of existence, not the land itself. Along with she can change the moods and Emotions of those around her and can even "take control" of people, commanding them to do whatever she states.

Library of Bestimmtheit

There are reports of an infinite library that can be accessed through a single door in the southern most hallway that opens to a random level of the library. The hallway is believed to hold every book that ever existed throughout the history of Strangereal and any book that is yet to exist and can exist. The Library holds total wisdom, knowledge, foolishness, serenity, happiness and despair.
Each pseudo-room within this greater Library is a hexagon. On the right and left side are two sets of bookshelves containing a book alphabetically sorted by Curator. on the other side of the room is an opening to an identical room that holds more books that enters into another room, etc... In the center of the room is an opening that goes infinitely up and down. Every five rooms there is an infinite staircase that goes both up and down to the floor above and below. Each book cover is similar with a slightly yellowish brown leather cover with golden engravings for the title on the front of the book and the spine; author's names have been removed.

Its been said that the dark personification of the souls of the dead wander through the library, looking for their book that details everything about their lives and everything about their failures, successes, faults, family, jobs, legacy. Inhumanly tall, midnight black figures have been spotted just out of perception range from those who stumble into the library and disappear when walked up to.

Unruhig Gallery

"An Empire of the Clouds" by famed Oskaari Artist, Karina Hattendorf, reportedly in the Unruhig Collection

Another Common Report that has been made by multiple people that have wandered the halls of the Wolkestein Castle is a long hallway willed with perfect copies of art that can be found across Strangereal, Oskarheim and Beyond. Talks about this gallery dates back to the 1100s with the Story of Elsa of Naamstraten where she recalled stumbling through the seemingly impossibly long corridor that the Gallery takes up.

Her Journal regarding her Encounter with the Wolkestein Oracle talks of a Kilometer and a half long hallway, somehow packed into what seemed to be a simple, 10 meter long hallways with an the wall on the east side of the Corridor being packed with the Major Works of Art from Oskarheim and some she recognized from Puczovskan Kingdoms, the Rovigian Empire, Baratochi, even some from Friently, Volstokn, Hong Kong Empire, and more. While the west side was a large collection of perfectly-clear glass windows that illuminated the paintings with the suns rays; and a large, intricate rug on the floor that eventually led to a door that when opened, led her to the beginning of the Gallery. However after entering and turning around, she could return to the rest of the Castle. Seemingly the door having some mechanisms that teleported peoples to the beginning yet couldn't be travelled through once again from that position.

Its believed that the Paintings are made of a mixture of Arcane Material and Canvas, mixed together and somehow projected to perfectly copy art while the Original Copy remains untainted and in place
