Well, you would "almost" make it out the other side as the apex of your ascent would be slightly less than your starting height. Then you would fall back the other way and that next apex would be even lower. You would cycle back and forth at an increasing rate but decreasing distance from the center.

In fact, what is kinda cool about it; you would not end up on exactly the opposite side as the acceleration and deceleration would mean the time from apex to apex would move you along as the Earth rotates around you.
