Fruit market traders let their stock spoil rather than reduce their prices at the day's end, the nation is ravaged by daily union strikes, rumour has it Comrade Commissar needs a calculator to multiply ten by ten, and every diamond ring sold is accompanied by a twenty-five page analysis and a waiver. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. South Comradia's national animal is the comrade bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course.
