The Empire of Zacly is a huge, safe nation, renowned for its burgeoning Sloth population. The democratic population of 743 million Zaclyians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The relatively small, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 18.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but inefficient Zaclyian economy, worth 27.7 trillion Naranjas a year, is led by the Furniture Restoration industry, with major contributions from Door-to-door Insurance Sales, Automobile Manufacturing, and Soda Sales. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 37,344 Naranjas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.2 times as much as the poorest.

TV shows must meet strict ethnicity quotas, graverobbers claim they're acting within the interest of 'scientific preservation', the mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, and citizens are barcoded to keep track of their movements. Crime is totally unknown. Zacly's national animal is the Sloth, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Zacly is ranked 239,751^st in the world and 2^nd in Althin for Largest Black Market, with 234 billion Standard Monetary Units.
