February 7th, 1969. Prosperous, Greatly

Across the horizon in the hustle and bustle city of an odd mix skyscrapers and huts, either a result of poor city planning or mismanagement in the eyes of Yingguo, sits a silhouette of a ship and another silhouette of a boxed vehicle approaching shore. Within that boxed vehicle sat an aged man, old but not exactly rusty, competent but not exactly strong, it was Colonel Yu Guanting. Colonel Yu was a military man, he served ever since the Battle of Shanghai in 1940, the collapse of the Republic in 1947 and then in the Eastern Revolutionary Front in 1948 to 1962 where he was recommissioned back into the military due to his continued desire to lead his marines. And with that choice came the rank of Colonel despite him being in his 60's which then lead to his deployment in the Tropics, a land he thought he would never visit, and yet here he was; in a helicopter and awaiting to do a diplomatic trip on behalf of Yingguo.

His Helicopter flew against the sunset behind them, forming a black silhouette for bystanders on the shore as the cruiser full of guns and missiles loomed on the horizon as the Helicopter flew across the bright waters of Prosperous as it approached the sandy beaches and soon the city as it reached the nearest garrison of Yingguo Military Elements, why the garrison? Cause it was the only place with the necessary infrastructure to land and maintain the helicopter properly for his flight back in 7 days.

Colonel Yu let out a sigh as the helicopter made it descent, slowly but surely touching the ground as he looked out to the outside of the Helicopter which was blinded by the godrays coming from the sky for a sight, specifically the bureaucrat in a pressed suit which was maybe an aid or a politician, a sight he was all too used to back in the capital..

February 7th, 1969, Prosperous, Greatly

The man approaching the helicopter gives a respectful salute as it touches down and Colonel Yu is escorted out of it. He steps forward to introduce himself to the colonel. “Greetings, Colonel,” he remarks. “How excellent it is to meet you at last. I’ve heard of your daring feats, and they sound simply brilliant! I simply wish we’d had someone of your tactical caliber in the Greatlyian military back when I was in charge...

“Oh, but of course!” He exclaims. “I haven’t introduced myself yet, have I? I am officially Lieutenant General Marsha, although my proper rank is somewhat up in the air ever since they demoted me from General for my use of, ah... prohibited tobacco substances...” He begins walking down a path towards a vehicle presumably meant to take the men towards Prosperous.

“But I digress. Anyway, you were probably expecting a politician or bureaucrat from this getup they stuffed me in, eh? But no, I get to show you around this place because I seem to be the only one in this blasted nation with any blasted semblance of military know-how...”

Lieutenant General Marsha looks up, seemingly escaping from dwelling on his thoughts as he reaches the car. “Right! Well, there she is...” Despite all his apparent bad-mouthing of the nation, he has an oddly fond expression on his face as he gestures towards the city of Prosperous in all its mismatched glory. “The central point of the struggle to seize this nation by the scruff and shove it into the present day. The government is trying to force modernization in every way they know how, but the people are stubborn, and old habits die hard.” He chuckles. “Hopefully these troops you folks have so generously provided should give us something to work with and help us kick these efforts into high gear. Anyways, I suppose it’s time to head into Prosperous and for you to see it for yourself... unless you have any questions first?”

Xeosia later wrote:Y'know. I left clues to find "Tin Soldier" in places where they have been, I wonder why no one has tried to find them beyond an old apartment complex in Greatly. Coincidentally in a portion of the city of Prosperous South Baba got us to occupy. How foolish of south baba to do that indeed.

President Agno pours themself a small cup of green tea, which they slowly sip from as they attempt to de-stress. For a moment, they close their eyes, allowing themself to pretend that they have finally dealt with rebuilding Greatly from the chaos that had so recently seized it. Then, they open their eyes with a sigh, viewing the still-massive disaster that Haym has left through them to sort through. Glancing at the letters and bad news piling up from Republica Guilleana and The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg, they sigh deeply, cursing Haym for being so charismatic and excellent at forming friendships under their breath. His breakdown had caused an absolute crisis in the international pacifist community, one that they frankly have no idea how to solve.

So they attempt to take their mind off of this issue by glancing through some of the international files that Haym had compiled - although they had all been tainted by his crazed scribbles at the end. However, they pause on one oddly thick file - that of Xeosia Later. Leafing through it, they find little but maddened scribbles distrusting Vice President An, and even accusing him of being a spy - President Agno lets out an incredulous scoff at this last bit as they consider just how close Haym and An were - but at the very end of the file, they find an odd sheet of paper. Haym had apparently missed this piece of paper on his distrustful rampage through the records. President Agno studies the piece of paper carefully, viewing the carefully compiled notes on a supposed Xeosian agent, rumored to be called “Tin Soldier”. President Agno sighs again as they look at the paper, deciding eventually that perhaps pursuing this lead will allow them to take their mind off of the wreckage of Haym’s administration. They gaze at the piece of paper carefully, looking over the evidence on “Tin Soldier” one more time...

The paper listed some interesting factoids about "Tin Soldier".. "Tin soldier" was usually spotted near Dilapidated factories and urban areas. They had worn a Black great coat every time they were spotted. And footage of them putting a drone into a body of water while wearing a Bandanna over their lower face was found on the coast, near the flooded ruins of Poorly. The trail stopped cold there.

President Agno delegates the task of writing the letter to their Minister of International Affairs, who eagerly accepts the offer of meeting.

Over the past few years our nation has not taken a stance on religion but as of late the King as well as many of his citizens have accepted that the one true religion is that of Universalism and he has recognized the authority of the Holy Universalist Pope. So as of today the King decrees that official religion of Velaheria is Universalism. God bless the King and God bless the Universalist church.

What is this?

Have you ever experienced this: You answer each and every issue, until the magical button appears...

You prepare to open the pack, hoping, wishing, praying, to get that one very special card....

You start flipping the cards one by one, and then.... nope, it's not there.

It happens all the time :(

Do not despair! The North Pacific Cards Guild is here to help. How, you say? Through The North Pacific Great Card Giveaway!

This program allows you to request a card you desire. Then, as soon as one of the nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2000 finds the card, they will gift it to you for free!

This sounds great! Are there any rules?

Yes, there are a few:

How do I make card requests?

You can request cards on Linkthis forum thread. Make sure to read the rules above first (also listed in the first post of the forum thread).

Where can I see other requests?

Are there any other ways I can get cards for free?

Yes! The North Pacific Cards Guild runs all sorts of activities that can provide you with, among other things, free cards for your collection. So make sure to check them out.

Additionally, if you are a Keeper of the North, you automatically enter The North Pacific Card Lottery. This gives you a chance to win free legendary cards for your collection.

Finally, you can participate in the executive government and win free legendary and epic cards through the Executive Card Rewards. To maximize the number of cards you can win, you can join the Executive Staff, Cards Guild, and North Pacific Army.

Why are the "Card Farmer" nations gifting us cards?

The government of The North Pacific operates nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2000, and uses them to expand the card collection of regional nation The Northern Light. This includes the cards used for the giveaway.

Can I help?

If you would like to contribute, please feel free to donate cards you do not need to regional nation The Northern Light. We are particularly interested in cards of common rarity, of nations that have ceased to exist, and with eight or fewer owners. Thanks in advance for your cards!

What if I still have questions?

Please feel free to contact Minister of Cards and Guildmaster Destructive Government Endorsing System. They would be happy to help!

Over the past few years our nation has not taken a stance on religion but as of late the King as well as many of his citizens have accepted that the one true religion is that of Universalism and he has recognized the authority of the Holy Universalist Pope. So as of today the King decrees that official religion of Velaheria is Universalism. God bless the King and God bless the Universalist church.Over the past few years our nation has not taken a stance on religion but as of late the King as well as many of his citizens have accepted that the one true religion is that of Universalism and he has recognized the authority of the Holy Universalist Pope.
