As for the images, you could download them and just them to a specific size, then use Imgur for hosting purposes.
Most likely issues related to politics will have an option where you become a dictator. I would imagine from there, there'd be issues about the succession of the leadership of the country. I've always been a democracy so can't really help you there but I've definitely seen options that would move you in that direction.

Of course, it’s impact is rather variable. Having the “Socialism” police installed, while already having or supporting the state industry should see little economic downfall, for example. However, an economy driven by the private industry would collapse once socialism is installed due to the central planned economy.
Unless the stat in question is “economic freedom”, it really is a gamble.
