Additional Info: Although the term and various iterations of the Freikorps existed before the 20th century, the most well known is the Freikorps which followed the first world war. It was an anti-communist and anti-socialist paramilitary force. During the rise of the national socialist party, many remaining members and ex-members became street thugs affiliated with the SA/SS that engaged in street brawls with communists and disrupted anarchist, communist and socialist meetings.
This group has been romanticized by many in the modern day. The Freikorps theme and name was reused as recently as 2025 on NS. This includes New Freikorps, which was run by the same hateful fascist user who was responsible for Rhodesia 2. As such, this region will remain permanently shut down to prevent further misuse.
