Tough with a hidden password on the region.

Nobody's ever had trouble taking control from the outside- don't forget, I've been cleaning up after R&D here for over a decade.

The point was to see if the crowd here was more than sleepers and puppets. I was hoping at least a few of the residents had some investment in the values SPACE has supposedly been about all these years and would actually, you know, do something.

I'd been afraid for a long time that I was playing guardian to a dead idea, now I know it. So the question is, what next?

I propose the values of space include just chillin'.

Chillin', sure, but if all you want to do is park you can do that anywhere. What I'm trying to figure out is whether there's anything that makes SPACE special at this point besides that it's special to me or if I'm just squatting.

well there was that cosmo dragoon thing. That sounds pretty cool.

honestly I don't think a region needs to have RPing or even regular conversations to justify it being special. doesn't bother me if we're an unofficial rejected realms for psuedo-abandoned nations. I kind of like the nature of this big, old, silent, cold, vacuum we call home. Even if most of our neighbours are space'd out most of the time.

Look, I have some nations.

And then I have a nation IN SPACE!!!!!!

Can't top that.

Mm. If you're so jazzed about it, why don't you be the Delegate for a decade or two? I'd be perfectly happy to see SPACE carry on as usual if someone else would take the torch, but literally nobody wants it. I mean, presumably some raiders do, but that's a different thing.

How the heck did I become the most cheerful nation in space? I coulda sworn I was, like, bottom 50% a year or two ago.

Must have been the policy 'the beatings will continue until morale improves'.

I'm still parsing Xanthalians' high cheerfulness, low compassion, and high rudeness. Evidently they're very happy assholes.
