Welcome to West Virginia!

West Virginia is the 35th state of the United States of America. Our capital and largest city is Charleston, our second largest city is Huntington, and our neighbors are Maryland, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia! We welcome all nations here - we may be the "northsouth", but we still have plenty of southern hospitality! West Virginia - wild and free, home of the mountaineers! Montani semper liberi!

"Country roads, take me home
to the place, I belong
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
take me home, country roads!"

They are indeed, my friend. Spruce Knob, the New River Gorge, Seneca Rocks, the Greenbrier Resort... Wonderful places!

Depends on where you’re going, but almost everywhere there are many local family owned establishments that are much more than meets the eye!

I must say I’m very proud of the Mountaineer baseball program. They finally made it to Omaha and went all the way to the semifinals! One of the last 4 teams standing out of the initial 64, while also setting records and doing things that hadn’t been done in decades.

Agreed!

local family owned establishments should be the goal. Franchises rarely are worth walking in the door.

Hello, West Virginians, are you ready to usher in a natural lifestyle?
