You are being polled.
Please do not resist.

I picked Breath of the Void, because space. Even though it's a waste, since one could easily obtain dozens of them before even becoming a Nation of Some Importance.

Shattered Stellasea would very much like an Impossible Theorem. It seems like it would be helpful for Advanced Civic Engineering. And the sooner we get our intercity transit system done, the sooner our surveyors and construction workers stop falling into those vast and probably cursed fissures all over our countryside.

As apparently our nation has actualised what was called an Impossible Theorem already, we have abstained from it. A rare collection of stories unable to be found elsewhere, however? Do not mind if we do.

We here at WtDaW would like an Impossible Theorem, but apparently that's just what Landmassology is like. So instead we'll take the Immaterial Material to make a new coat for my servers.

Thanks,

WtDaW government (name pending)

This is certainly a question of somewhat personal and spiritual gain. We shall pick the Fluke Core; most impossible things, we are afraid, escape scrutiny, however this one appears to be... calling to us.

A bunch of smart frogs

The polls will continue until something improves!
What that is, I haven't figured out yet.

It would be so nice if polls had multiple options, seeing as Biblitopia is almost evenly split between corn and potatoes. Maybe one day, technology will advance far enough to allow such things.

Sadly can't do that.
Else I'd probably have added mushrooms and the like.
Also possibly corn.

The decision to enter Swammweald into the World Assembly was not done easily. The Mycelium rippled and agitated with debate -- sometimes reasonable, something fervid -- as to whether the Free Lands would be subordinating itself by such a decision.

The Wandrentoun cluster officially abstained, though it was widely assumed -- correctly -- their populace approved. The Lichmere and and Heawerwic clusters unsurprisingly registered their dissent right away, as did Wymrhlāwas -- always sensitive to their location between the two regions -- and Sunnaleigh shortly after. The Londsae cluster followed swiftly in response registering their approval, tailed by their long-time allies in Treowyrm and Coernmersc. But it was the Isengraef and Wyrtwold clusters that surprised with their own approval, as well as the unexpected mutual assent of Grenefaest and their ancient rival Elpendford, that ensured Swammweald as a whole had the majority of the populace's approval. And it was to much anticipation that the newest cluster of Yok'mana cast their voice into Swammweald politics: a divided, but more than majority assent.

There would be difficulties, of course. WA diplomats would find it explained that resolutions could only be mandated in federated Mycelial holdings, and those held in community by the clusters could not be forced to adopt them. And although Swammweald had not entered their own world's proposed Association of Nations, it was let known that the Free Land would almost certainly side with its direct neighbors over this fragile, multiversal connection.

Nevertheless, there was a sense of cautious joy in the Wandretoun cluster as they reported the latest news: a vote of confidence from a new neighbor across the great divide. Swammwealders crowded around newspapers and radios to hear of another exotic new land, and murmured to themselves about the strange cold lands of 'Alaska' and 'America'. The world after the Great War had seemed bigger than ever before -- and now, it was even greater than one world.

(all that is to say: thanks for the endorsement, Seward's Folly! Very interested to see how Alaska goes communist in your timeline.)
