it's pretty layered though lol

Does anyone else absolutely hate how AI has just infected everything? Like i'm just walking around and suddenly BLAM, AI-generated poster hawking some sort of crap I might be interested in if it had a shred of creativity or work put into it.

Dawnbreak - A Fortress Against The Storm
When winter came, it came like sleep to a rambunctious, reluctant child. First the world was there, in all of its warmth and light and splendor. Then came the slow, occasional blinks in time where flurries of snow fell and were fought off by stretches of meagerly warmer days. But at last, the world-child settled down from its play and went, definitively, to bed. That’s when the first blizzard came.

The days were enveloped by clouds and became nearly indistinguishable from the already-long nights. The snow was relentless and seemed poised to bury the whole village. It would be easy, one might think, to lose hope in a time like this. But PineBurn was strong. Generations of brutal winters had imposed themselves over it, and none had succeeded in stealing the flame of faith. The invading armies of frost had never prevailed over the besieged fortress at the center of the village: the Citadel.

It stood as a beacon of the Inferno’s power, unscathed by the bitter cold. All the villagers were gathered inside, grouped in a rough circle. They sat on the floor, many with their knees tucked into their chests to save space. Children sat on their parents’ laps and lovers cuddled in each other’s arms. The closeness, which in most other circumstances would be uncomfortable, was a welcome source of heat. The air was alight with the buzz of chatter as the villagers swapped stories and jokes. Laughter rose high into the rafters, echoing and rebounding, strengthening itself into an unapologetically noisy atmosphere of joy. In the center of the room was a basin of fire, proud and enduring. Each villager had brought whatever bits of kindling they could spare from their own hearths, and everyone’s contributions came together to produce a magnificent flame indeed.

So although the gales howled against the windows and his aching bones cried out with them, Peregris found himself content. Beside him, as always, was Pyasrion, who presently was struck by a small chill. Peregris lifted a wing, rendered inanimate by weeks of disuse such that he had to use his hand to move it, and draped it over his friend’s shoulders.
