Why not? You should think about taking life more lightly.

Gambling through the few networks, Dao randomly chose—his personal favorite—Roctanian News.
“...appears the world is in mourning for deceased Queen Mafi Tupou VIII (8th),” exclaimed newbie Trevor A. Stewart. “As sources have discovered, the leader was killed by an anonymous male, with old Venicesn heritage. We can confirm...”
The president dropped his spoon and smiled, a large smirk. “Another excuse for war?” he giggled, cruelty seeping on his tone. “All a play for power, I wouldn’t be surprised if this murder was run by the royal family itself. Barbarians,” he coughed blood into a napkin and quickly set it down.
“...the man is sentenced to death in 7 days...”
“At least we agree on death penalty,” Dao thought aloud. “However you monarchic societies, ugh.” Dao scoffed and coughed into his napkin once more.
He turned off the television to begrudgingly leave his warm chair and stalk outside the beautiful living room.

As ever, King Andrianary Razoarimihaja sat upon his throne, two women at his side. Neither was his queen, though he had indeed taken one. Instead, next to their leige stood the priestess of the Lord and the sorceress, and as happened every day, their arguments continued. Tsiky Oumori, descendent of revered Antaimoro mystics, offered her king a bowl of mashed leaves and roots. “If you seek good health, my lord, this brew will help you fend of the demons of disease. You do not wish to be sick again, do you?”
Sylvaine Ralazasoa, the priestess, scoffed, before speaking with her usual delicate, somewhat French accent. “If you wish to avoid sickness, consuming this putrid solution of grime, dirt and inedible plants is the last thing you should do. Have faith in the Lord. He will grant you salvation from malady, should your prayers be honest. This woman is little more than a devil incarnate, seeking to feast off of your agony. Her witchery holds no power. Seek not her guidance, but that of the Lord, my liege, and find solace and contentment from the spirit of true divinity.”
The King, of course, had accepted solutions from both of these women in the past. Indeed, there was a reason he had allowed them to argue at all in his presence- to him, it was a source of entertainment. Each was a rarity, an exotic find, and each served him well when circumstances demanded it. But in the interim between crises and matters of urgency, their conflict provided amusement. It was almost childish, how each despised the other, yet both were similar in so many respects. Each other aided him, offered him counsel, and Each was fiercely determined to protect him in thief own way- albeit, mostly from the other.
“Perhaps the seeker of the imaginary is correct. I am certain desperate cries to the heavens above are sure to be more fruitful than that which can be seen, smelled, tasted and consumed. Perhaps we best indulge her, my lord. Perhaps then she will be-“ Tsiky was interrupted by the arrival of another man, a messenger, who bowed before his king before handing said monarch a letter. Andrianary examined its pages. Once, he recalled, these lands had considered writing a scared art, a form of sorcery. Now machines could perform the same duty with ease, on a massive scale.
“An invitation from our African neighbours,” he mused aloud. “My chosen angels, I ask of you this. Read these words, and tell me, what worth will it be to venture to these foreign lands as they request?” Andrianary handed the piece of paper to Sylvaine first, before retreating into his own contemplations. There was little to garnered from those words about the specifics of the meeting. Foreign affairs and the “affairs in the land of Africa” were vague at best, and far more detail had been given to various other information such as accomodations and an invitation to a game of some kind.
“My lord,” said Sylvaine- Tsiky having snatched the page away in the interim- “this may present a chance to make our presence known on the international stage. I would require further prayer to grant you a better answer, but it is an opportunity for us. I feel we should not waste this timely occurrence.”
Tsiky seemed to have other ideas. “We are conspired one of the lesser nations of the world. Should we venture there, we will find only the sinister intent of those seeking to exploit us. Only demons lurk in wait there. Far better, I believe, to focus on our own problems.”
“You mean,” said the priestess, “the very problems we could ask other to aid us with?”
“Ah, you each have made your stance clear.” Andrianary’s voice boomed throughout the chamber. “I believe it best to take hold of this opportunity, to at very least be aware of what is discussed there. Priestess, may you be as kind as to offer me a pen and paper? The time has come to make my reply.”

To Abraham Oleko,
Your generous offering for our attendance at a continental meeting has been a most worthy consideration. It would be most delightful to attend. I must request the presence of two others, for the sake of security and comfort. If this proves acceptable, I wish to make my presence at this affair known. I look forward, most sincerely, to meeting with you and discussing the affairs of Africa. May it be a prosperous day for us all.
Regards,
King Andrianary Razoarimihaja

Hello you all, and for the new ones welcome here!
Feel free to ask anything if you need any help :)
Here's some useful information:
Whether you are new or experienced, this handbook will provide you with answers to all of your questions. If you have other unanswered questions, feel free to ask Delegate Simone Republic, Minister of Home Affairs The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg, or any of the Gameside Advocates and Mentors. They will be glad to help! Additionally, we are always looking for ways to improve this handbook, so let us know if you think something should be added or changed.
This section covers the very first items you should check off as a newcomer to the game and TNP.
Why you should be in TNP: explaining the pros of staying in our large region.
Endorse the Delegate, Vice Delegate and the Security Council: Endorsing the Delegate, Vice Delegate and all members of the Security Council is important for safeguarding our region against external threats and ensuring the continuation of our constitutional government.
Join the regional forum: The forum is where most government and roleplay activities take place. Registering an account is very easy.
Join our Discord: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and chat about the game and real life subjects.
Apply for citizenship: Citizenship is your ticket to TNP. As a citizen, you can vote to elect our Delegate and other government officials, hold them accountable, and even run for these positions yourself.
Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.
Join the Executive Staff: The equivalent of TNP's Civil Service, the Executive Staff is a group of residents and citizens that are employed to assist one or more of the Ministries of the Executive Government. It is ideal both for new residents who want to gain experience in how the government operates, and for experienced citizens who are looking to contribute to the region through the Executive.
Enlist in the North Pacific Army: The North Pacific Army (NPA) is our regional military force. The NPA defends the region, our allies, and serves abroad helping our friends and fighting our enemies.
Enlist in the Militia: The North Pacific Army Militia is for people who wish to contribute to the North Pacific Army but for whatever reason, likely because they cannot/do not want to have a forum or Discord account, cannot be members of the regular Army in the Auxiliary or Special Forces branches.
Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!
Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.
Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.
This section contains all the relevant laws, guidelines, and policies of TNP's Government.
Government index: Get to know your government by using this list of all government officials in TNP. If you have questions or suggestions about any aspect of the regional governance, feel free to send a telegram to the corresponding government official.
Law index: This is a compilation of all legal documents currently in force in TNP. This includes our Constitution and Bill of Rights, which form the basis of our government.
RMB Guidelines: Posting on the regional message board (RMB) is a great way to socialize and get to know other TNP nations. Just make sure to follow these guidelines.
Embassy policy: If you are here as a diplomat from another region, please take a look at our policy for in-game and forum embassies.
Recruitment policy: If you are here to recruit for another region, please take a look at our policy on permissible and prohibited types of recruitment.
For WA member-states, here is where you can find out about our WA vote recommendations and voting policy.
Information for WA Voters: Produced by the Ministry of WA Affairs, IFVs provide vote recommendations and analysis about all resolutions that reach the floor of the General Assembly or Security Council.
World Assembly voting policy: Look here to learn how TNP's Delegate casts the regional vote on World Assembly resolutions, and how you can help determine that vote.

You don't seem like the kind of country that would have the death penalty. In fact, just don't have the death penalty anyway. What if the wrong person is executed? Do you want to take away people's right to live?

You can barely say anymore, y'all have got an unstable currency since you decided to share it with Lazarus. Best estimate is 1 drama llama to 0.65 credits. So a good rum at 125 credits will be about 206.25 drama llamas, prime minister.
