Pirate vessels raiding Marasumean, Mzeusian and Canadian are attacked by OSEAN carrier aircraft and anti-ship missiles, until their sinking is confirmed.
AWACS aircraft have increased their flights in waters surrounding far-north Osea in order to track pirate vessels attacking in the Arctic Ocean.
The
Warsaw-Halicz and Tommatito flagged naval vessels which were deployed to escort all shipping in the Northern Ceres are ordered to sink all attacking pirate vessels. Chilokveri naval vessels escorting shipping within the Chimera Strait are ordered to engage and sink pirates attacking Yelacapeva and Martantaka flagged trade vessels.
Asthean naval fleets deployed to the Southern Ceres are ordered to eliminate pirate vessels attacking Ventuskian and New European shipping before resuming their hunt against pirate vessels.
OSEAN strike groups in the Emerald have engaged pirate vessels attacking CAR and Atheenos' flagged shipping, with orders to cease only once their destruction is confirmed.
Privateers attacking HKE shipping have been engaged by the Chilokveri naval vessels escorting all of them. Any survivors which live to see their vessels sink are secured for transport to HKE for interrogation and trial.

Antiyard is humbly requested to resume strategic bombing of unclaimed land in Northern Osea. If acceptable, the air combat operations in this war would be transferred entirely to Antiyardian command.OSEAN carrier groups have increased the sustained rate of patrols over their deployed areas in the Arctic, Northern Ceres, Cascade and Northern Emerald Oceans. Patrols are to destroy confirmed pirate vessels on sight.
To maximise the effectiveness of Asthean naval forces, they are advised to split their battleships from their main fleets and use them as independent anti-pirate fleets. Their heavy armour will allow them to comfortably operate alone against pirates, and splitting up forces allows more area to be covered and scoured of pirates.
The governments of Montarc and
Minuda are humbly requested to, if possible, begin anti-pirate operations in the Erinevo Ocean, west of Anea. The Warsaw Pact is contacted regarding the creation of a cooperative effort to rid international waters of pirates. While the WP's relative isolationism in international affairs is well known, the global scale of this issue is one that OSEAN believes best solved together.

National Assembly building, Verciles, Oile Islands
January 19th 2019
As several members of the Oilese Parliament attempted to make their way to the National Assembly building in the heart of Verciles, a single large road leads to the building, moderate traffic moves through at any given time. A seemingly normal day, until Prime Minister Shang Shek noticed the traffic come to a rough stop ahead. The Prime Minister shouted at his driver to explain the situation, until shouting could be heard from outside the luxury sedan. "I think there's a roadblock on the road to the National Assembly, sir.", said the driver. "What? That's ludicrous! I will have these construction workers fired for such arrogance blockading the road at this time of day! I must be at the National Assembly in 15 minutes, Junpax!. Make haste!" The sedan swerved into the shoulder and flew by a parking lot of stopped cars on the main Oilese road until it came to an abrupt and dangerous stop following the sight of a row of three PT-76B infantry fighting vehicles with Oilese Army personnel aiming Kalashnikov's at them, throwing up steady hand signals to halt. The driver obeys and throws the vehicle in park, putting his hands in the air and not making any moves. The soldiers initially were not aware that the Prime Minister was sitting in the back seat. After short questioning, the soldiers inspected the vehicle further and found the Prime Minister , ordering him out at the barrel of a RPK.
"Why am I being arrested? What is happening!? Why!?", the Prime Minister exclaimed as he was thrown into the back of a 4x4 utility truck and driven off. What he didn't know was that the branches of the Military have moved against the government of President Qin Ru at the behest of General Duan Hanying , Colonel Zou Cheng
, and other sectors of Military leadership as well as a flurry of support from various "olden" communists, Vogou and overall Oilese Socialist elements, both inside and outside of Oile Islands. To solidify a successful, quick, and near bloodless shift of power, General Hanyig instructed Oilese Army personnel to hold the National Assembly hostage. Those of whom that arrived early on this fateful morning, trapped and at the will of an armed military coup.
Almost immediately however, factions of the military that supported Ry and his liberalization of the Algerian economy came out to face, the albeit much larger Ru loyalists, with force. Hanyig and his followers, want to see a return to a statist economic model for their fatherland Oile. Though unexpressive so far on political views and or motives, the coup has completely blockaded the National Assembly. Local media come out on site to update all of Oile Islands live on this matter of national security. Many Oilese have come out in support for the coup, saying Ru is a corrupt, liberal, Havens League puppet and that he is singlehandedly responsible for Oile Islands's diverse yet rapidly deteriorating economy. The Oilese News station, 'Xi-Shelk' released footage of Oilese soldiers waving olden Soviet flags, including the red flag of the Great Socialist People's Republic and the Oixagmi colors, outside of the National Assembly chanting soviet slogans with raised AKMs in the air. One soldier, a PT-76B crewman in OD Green tanker coveralls and a black Soviet tank helmet sat atop his PT-76 with the operators hatch of the tank's turret open with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth made a 'peace sign' with his left hand and took the smoke from his lip with his right to exclaim to the camera, "Guda! Hanyig! Algeria! and nothing else!". A clear slogan of wanted regime change in Oilese territory.
ALL EYES ON THE OILE ISLANDS
Verciles, Oile Islands, January 20th 2019; Day Two of the Military Coup d'etat
Thousands of Oilese Army personnel are in Verciles. A sea of OD Green and various jungle camouflage uniformed infantry supported by a mix of armor including BMP-1's, T-54/55's, and PT-76B's moves down the streets of Verciles toward the National Assembly building. All civilians were evacuated from a 6 square mile radius of the National Assembly as radio chatter was rampant amongst Army units in Verciles, awaiting the General's next order. General Duan Hanying phoned the National Assembly in attempt to negotiate the unconditional abdication of Qin Ru as President of Oile Islands and the disbanding of his current government, including the National Assembly and other Branches of the Government, completely deposing the idea of a parliamentary system in Oile Islands. Ru, although trapped within the National Assembly, underestimated the size, strength, and leadership of the coup and overestimated his support structure, refusing all of the General's demands.
With this, Ru made a formal statement from the Assembly building, interrupting the breaking news of the coup calling for Algerians to "rise up in arms and defend democracy!". Ru further stated that the coup was lead by "arbitrators of Authoritarian foreign policy in the Warsaw Pact", affirming his distaste for the alliance. "All Army personnel loyal to the coup are to be considered enemies of the state and must be resisted in order to restore peace in Oile Islands.", the President continued. As President Ru ended his broadcast, a small formation of coup-aligned Mil Mi-24A Hind's flew over the National Assembly, the lead Hind of the formation flying several Pro Communist flags from the old Soviet state, including yet again the red flag of the Oilese Soviet Air Corps, from a tow cable. A clear indication of the Air Force's support in the coup.
Even after the clear show of force, Ru loyalists still planned to follow their orders, putting General Hanying in a compromising situation. His calculations did not see the bloodshed of any Oile Islands, however, he was about to see it given that Qin chose stubbornness and arrogance over peace. With this, the General communicated with Army units at the Assembly, directing them to open fire on the building and the loyalist troops who were already beginning to fortify themselves to start attacking coup forces. However, what they did not anticipate was General Hanying's hasty but decisive resolution. An Army tanker received the same radio transmission as the other thousands of soldiers ready to depose Ru, the transmission was short, simply stating in Oilese-Xagili, "Rattle the cage." The tanker in his PT-76 quickly turned the turret toward the building and peered into the TShK-66 gun sight, speaking aloud numbers to himself as he turns the turret and gun to the perfect spot for a direct hit. "Ih! Ih! Ih!", the gunner shouts to the loader as he swiftly shuffles a 76.2x385mm cartridge from the turret basket into the gun bore. The PT-76 gun let about a blast heard all throughout the capital as the shell pushed through the rifling, screamed through the air and impacted on the face of the National Assembly building leaving a giant hole and plenty of smoke and dust in it's the wake. The other armored units that arrived to assist in bombarding the Assembly quickly followed up with the shot by letting off their salvos as well. Well over a dozen or more tanks peppered the building all at once.
Forces loyal to Ru within the Assembly's gates began opening fire from their sandbagged positions. However, the bombardment of the building threw many of the Assembly guards into a panic as the building's structure began to spit debris from the continuous tank fire. Coupled with the severe lack of anti-tank ammunition within their possession, the soldiers could do nothing but fire aimlessly at what they could not see, hear, or penetrate. A soldier loyal to the coup cautiously fired an RPG-7 from behind the cover of a tank at the fortifications, visibly killing two soldiers and wounding many more. Mortified, the remainder of the Assembly guard retreated into the building and called for reinforcements. Little did they know, a force large enough to save them was never going to come.

You had a chance! A chance to hold that power, increase it, to make Azenyanistan a power to be reckoned with! I heard there were talks nuclear development. I hope you enjoy your ‘congress’ being too indecisive to ever make use of it. I hope you enjoy the endless delays between action being needed, situations passing, and a response being decided far too late. I hope you enjoy being a servant to a pack of imbeciles more concerned with telling popular lies than getting anything done.”

I wonder why you do this. Fear of your own inadequacy? Laziness, lethargy, a desire to sit back and do nothing? A feeling of helplessness, a desire to be irresponsible for any calamity you have caused? Whatever the case, you have reduced yourself to nothing more than a figurehead.”
“You say your god will save your nation. Yeah, you’re going to need one at this rate. Democracy showed its weaknesses countless times! Yet here you embrace it? It’s shameful. Is it cowardice that drives you such depths? Or is it merely a lack of wisdom? Perhaps I’m being a little insulting. I can’t help it when I see tragedies like this being celebrated.”
“I hope that Azenyanistan will soon see the error of its ways. I have hope that you, queen of an entire nation, can take it upon yourself to value order. Do you not remember the events that have plagued you? Civil instability? Piracy? An entire colony seceding from your control? Do you look at these events and go, ‘oh well, not my problem anymore’!? I’m not even from your country. I had to use a report to pick up on these things even happening, and yet, it is I who is concerned with them, not yourself?”
“That’s all I have to say, really. What more can I add? Azenyanistan once held promise. Now it holds the key to its own destruction. One day, you will look upon those in your democratic assembly, each of their opinions more worthless than the last, and speak up...only to be drowned out, cast aside, pushed away. Because you won’t matter anymore. You’ll watch your own nation, led by its own people, choose self-destruction over prosperity, stupidity over wisdom, wrong over right. And you’ll be no more than a prisoner of your own poor choices.”

The sailor rushed up to the captain as if he just now drank liquid caffeine
"Is that so? Well, that's good news!"
The captain then does a sort of half-chuckle as he does a slow drag on the cigar he was smoking, the smoke filling the captain's quarters as if a smoke bomb was detonated.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get this damn boat out of the docks for once!"
The captain then stands up out of his old, ragged chair with delight filling his dark brown eyes.
*coughs* "You need to work on your smoking habit, if I so may say, captain"
The sailor then instantly ran out onto the main deck of the old, rusted hull of a boat
"Hey mates! Get up here!"
The sailor calls out onto the wooden deck down below, calling for the rest of the crew to come up onto the ship.
The captain walks around in the cabin that he is going to call home for a few days, but stops and picks up a photo of his long deceased wife
"This is for you, Amber" as he states with a subtle monotone voice, deepened by his sadness.

Endorse the Delegate, Vice Delegate and the Security Council: Endorsing the Delegate, Vice Delegate and all members of the Security Council is important for safeguarding our region against external threats and ensuring the continuation of our constitutional government.
Join the regional forum: The forum is where most government and roleplay activities take place. Registering an account is very easy. - Join our Discord: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and chat about the game and real life subjects.
- Apply for citizenship: Citizenship is your ticket to TNP. As a citizen, you can vote to elect our Delegate and other government officials, hold them accountable, and even run for these positions yourself.
Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.
Join the Executive Staff: The equivalent of TNP's Civil Service, the Executive Staff is a group of residents and citizens that are employed to assist one or more of the Ministries of the Executive Government. It is ideal both for new residents who want to gain experience in how the government operates, and for experienced citizens who are looking to contribute to the region through the Executive.
Enlist in the North Pacific Army: The North Pacific Army (NPA) is our regional military force. The NPA defends the region, our allies, and serves abroad helping our friends and fighting our enemies.
Enlist in the Militia: The North Pacific Army Militia is for people who wish to contribute to the North Pacific Army but for whatever reason, likely because they cannot/do not want to have a forum or Discord account, cannot be members of the regular Army in the Auxiliary or Special Forces branches.
Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!
Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.
Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.

Perhaps it was foolish, perhaps it was not. But what I have is faith and faith is strong even when it is alone. But my faith is not alone for I share it with the courage to give up power and the foresight that causes me to believe that indeed, it was a good decision to make for myself and my people.
Democracy is the rule of the people. Yes, it will take time. Yes, it will sometimes paralyze the government. And yes, it fails every now and then. But it is free. And it is sweet. For I have faith in liberty and in the choice of policy.
I have faith, I believe in the light. And although it seems chaotic, there is order within.
For I am not leaving my country. I am still alive and I still hold some power. I simply am changing homes. From a palace to a simple apartment guarded by the Valkyries, there I and my family shall be. And not one of them complained. Even my mother has shown relief that we could reside in someplace smaller and easier to clean.
So why am I condemned by doubts and by the voices of others I may or may not hear? Perhaps that is simply because of my nature as a human being. I am, after all, not someone special. I am a mortal who rules over other mortals. And I bleed and cry and I laugh and smile as they do. So why am I feeling against what I have decided to do? Perhaps it is regret.
But regret makes nobody strong. What makes them strong is the ability to move forward no matter what failure or success anoints the hair that I have upon my head. For what good is a woman if she cannot accept the ways of the new generations? For what good is a queen if she cannot give away her power every once in a while? For what good is a country if she cannot change for the better future and life of her people?
For what good is all these things if those who live are not free?
