Wow -- we're featured!

Birthday Cake Herby wrote:Beep beep! Congrats on being the featured region of the day! Oooh, Chicago, I spent a fair bit of time in Chicago, I worked for a Trib-owned paper for over 20 years. So who wants some cake?

Ah the newspaper business (ugh)

We're pretty sleepy here as RL is busy enough (But why not invite other Chicagoans here -- need not be summer doldrums

I came to Chicago from Montana when I received a scholarship to Northwestern and haven't left, save to return home to visit family occasionally.

Merry Christmas from our region to yours!

Tao the wanderer

Greetings from TAO. Just passing through on WalkAbout.

I once lived in Villa Park (Far West burbs) a few decades ago. My uncle lived in West Chicago until a few years ago -- across from the Kane County Cougars stadium. Fond memories.

A happier 2021 to everyone [I hope]

Believe it or not, I'm still here after a 18 inch snow fall.
