Rose stared out over the railing that separated her from the drop to the ground far below, taking in the view over Hoffmahn. It was truly a wonderful sight, one which was only further enhanced by the scenic lighting provided by the setting sun, but Rose had other matters occupying her mind, and slowly she began to turn back towards the woman she had come here to see; the woman who had taken her in and brought her here from the misery of her home. Taniyaa Hoffmahn.
Seating herself across from Tanya, Rose closed her eyes and took a deep breath, preparing herself for what would come. “My Lady Taniyaa,” she began, locking their eyes in an exchange, “It is wonderful. I don’t think I have the words to describe it, but it is beautiful”. She paused for a moment, uncertain of what she wanted to say to Tanya, but soon enough she figured it out, just as the waiter arrived with food. “Lady Taniyaa” Rose tried, gaining her attention, “When I first saw you on that beach, when I first approached you and your companions, I had no expectations, I had no hopes or illusions of what would come of it. When you agreed to take me in, to take me with you I knew not who you were, and I definitely did not know where it would bring me” she made a brief pause before continuing, “I never believed that you would come to mean so much to me, that you would become my everything, yet here I am, on the rooftop of yo- no, our home, and all I know is that this… this is exactly where I want to be.”
She stared into Tanya’s eyes, those beautiful eyes that she had come to love deeply over the past two months, those beautiful eyes which radiated such strength and determination, yet hid such a kind and loving woman in their depths. The woman she had decided that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, no matter how short that life risked being. The matter had troubled her for a long time, and the uncertainty of her lifespan plagued her mind yet still, and as the time progressed, she feared it would also tear into Tanya’s conscience as well. Her mother had lived for nearly a hundred years, both a blessing and a curse brought on to her by her powers, yet she suffered. Everyone she had ever cared about, except for Rose, she had seen become sick, grow old, starve or otherwise die in some way, yet she lived on, and Rose was unsure if she would be forced to live out the same fate, or suffer the consequences of a regular Sartinaynian lifespan, destined to die before the age of sixty. “I have to let her know” she decided, and after Tanya had finished speaking, Rose prepared herself for what would come.
“There is another thing, my Lady Taniyaa, that has bothered me for much of my life. An uncertainty, regarding my on life, and how long, or rather short it may be.” She witnessed the radical shift in Tanya’s expression upon the revelation, yet continued, “I know not whether or not I have inherited the trait of long life that my mother possess. If I have, I will live far longer than any human should, and I will be forced to watch as you age, become old, and die. But if not, then I will die, within forty years, and you will be left in the same situation.”

The Premier of Tunamia has ordered the Imperial Army to seize lands occupied by the Vapian invaders. Over 100,000 soldiers have been mobilized to defend the nation, the economy has been ordered to begin war productivity. Tanks, planes, all the essentials of war being carted off the assembly line. But in the shadows of society lay men who were loyal to the King now a prisoner. Across the country, small groups would attack soldiers and bomb factories. The Premier had overestimated the conservative movements complete loyalty to him. After all, the country had swore loyalty to Emmanuel, the King. Their King.
It was not before long the prison holding Emmanuel was under attack by partisan forces. The fight for the prison would not end for awhile. Elsewhere, the Imperial Army was converging on the Vapian position on the southern coast. The army was at a true disadvantage however. The army had been trained, equipped, and been birthed by the Vapians. The mentor, who had yet to become proficient themselves.
The prison after long hours of fighting was breached by the partisans. Chaos spread through the ranks of the guards as the partisans managed to reach the cell of Emmanuel Filiberto. They managed to free him, and with help of reinforcements they were able to gain full control of the prison.

The Battle Of South Tunamia
Tunamian troops beared down on their position. Despite the numbers being wildly in the favor of the enemy, the 30,000 occupation troops hunkered down in a fortified position. Machine guns, snipers, and sheer determination to retake the land of their King and their Empire. The enemies arrived on their doorstep, and faced the wrath of the enemy defenses. Refusing to budge, the enemy waves fell before the fierceness of the Vapian soldiers.
