Greetings nations of Graveyard. I'm honoured to be able to join you from now until Holy Thursday on the 28th. Thank you for allowing me safe passage into your region during my regional tour.
It is always a pleasure to have visiting clergy.
Gracious and eternal God,
Today we celebrate Palm Sunday,
On this day, allow us to welcome Jesus into our hearts.
Allow us to prepare ourselves for the upcoming season of Easter,
and the drawing to a close of Lent.
Let us turn our eyes to Jesus,
let us shout hosanna in the highest heaven,
as we follow Jesus on the road to the cross.
We ask this through Christ, your Son, and our Lord.
Amen.
Almighty and forever God our Lord,
Holy Thursday is a time of reflection,
where we celebrate the initiation of the Eucharist by your Son, Jesus.
On this day, let us be reminded of the trust Jesus had in you Lord.
Help us to gain that same trust,
so we can become a people united in Christ as we follow Jesus,
especially during this period of Easter.
Prepare us Lord for the events to come,
forgive us our sins,
and help us to follow in the footsteps of your Son.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, the shepherd of our people.
Amen.
