🌙Eientei is currently occupied by a large group. Kaguya Houraisan and moon bunnies have been hiding there since their exile from the Moon.🌙

🌙Every month on the night of the full moon, the residents of Eientei hold a Moon Festival (例月祭 Reigetsusai), offering mochi with medicinal herbs pounded into them. Making mochi is thus the main occupation of the Earth rabbits.🌙

[Opening jingle plays as gaudy graphics flash across the screen - "LATE NIGHT TONIGHT AT NIGHT" - for Angelus's debatably most controversial talk show host, Tibaut Jinevien]

Jinevien: Welcome to another episode of Late Night Tonight at Night, I'm your host tonight for this night's late night show, but I need no introduction...tonight!

Let's begin with our Prime Minister's surprising return from the dead! What a hoot, am I right folks? Who's to say whether anyone's really dead anymore? And who can we trust now that former Acting Prime Minister Lorenne Saveth was outed as a liar and traitor? I say she did some good things while Sephynne was off in the void or wherever she went. Saveth secured our borders, ended our silly appeasement strategy towards Lorenial, and finally showed those Maurian rabble-rousers the what-for! I mean, how many good women and men did we lose in our heroic invasion? And now Sephynne expects us to just withdraw like nothing happened? If anything, she might be the traitor!

Alas, we are your premier source for unbiased, truthful news, and I'm not saying that's my opinion! Just stating the facts.

Saveth is reported to have escaped arrest and is currently missing! Our oh-so-kind government has promised a hefty reward for any information that will lead to her capture. Rumor has it that certain ministers are pressing for our patriotic defense chief, Mikolan Ondine, to take Saveth's place as deputy prime minister! I say he's a fine choice and an upstanding military man, one who will surely put a cap on Sephynne's leniency towards national security concerns.

Speaking of leniency, the Prime Minister has opened a "summit for dialogue" with Lorenial and Maura! Right after whooping their ***es in a demonstration of our glorious military might! They're discussing silly things like "reparations" and "respect for national sovereignty." One can only hope our government sees reason before these foreign threats start demanding our territories! Watch out, they might be coming for our way of life next!

For our next segment: are university professors indoctrinating your children into becoming cats? More on tonight's program...

I was kinda waiting on a reply on what happens with Nol and Amatheia hahaha, but I don't mind that also.

This rp has been going on for quite a while, so we might aswell wrap it up to let others build their own stories also.

Operation Blue Trinity

The camera tilted to one of the operatives. "We are going to recover some anomalous items in the warehouse. Maybe we will clash with those insurgents from the Chaos Insurgency." A loud noise can be heard nearby. The front door of the warehouse was knocked down. "Move! Do not let them escape!" The operatives open fire on the intruders running out of the warehouse. The bodies hit the ground with a thud. Insignia of the Chaos Insurgency could be found in the clothes worn by the thieves. "I knew it was the defectors' doing. Mission accomplished!" The Foundation's personnel retrieved the artifacts stolen by the insurgents and left the scene.

Greater Angelus wrote:[Kharzal reaches for the cage enclosing her charge's death mask and flexes her fingers in a complicated motion - with a surprisingly fleshy clink, the lock disengages. The moment the cage clatters on the floor, Sarakkha bounds out the gates as though released from invisible shackles, shuddering sniffs as she locks onto the scent of their target. As Kharzal and Vitale follow along into the busy roads of New Adytum, a red mist seemingly envelops the trio - and bystanders that would probably otherwise be shocked at the anomalous sight pay them no attention. In fact, the three move unobstructed by the crush of humanity, cars, and assorted menagerie of city life, seeming to phase through solid objects as Sarakkha leads the way in a direct line towards what can only be assumed as their target.]

[A good hour of tracking later, the three are led to the foot of a massive, imposing brutalist structure, looming over the surrounding blocks like a leviathan. The coat of arms above the front gates denote it as the State Security Commission Headquarters, the Belyana Building. As Kharzal leans towards her, Sarakkha points her face upwards, seeming to gaze at one of the windows tens of stories above them. Kharzal waves her hand, and in a swirl of red mist the three appear in an ornately furnished conference room. Given that those assembled pay no heed to their sudden appearance, they are apparently still undetectable, wrapped as they are by Kharzal's shroud. They scan the faces gathered around the large table in the center of the room - at its head, in the prestigious uniform of the highest-ranking officers, sits Radelia Coridón, SSC Director-General, while to her left...their target, in a simple but handsome black politician's suit, Defense Minister Mikolan Ondine, currently in the middle of an impassioned monologue.]

Ondine: ...Sephynne being alive changes nothing. Lorenial and Maura remain threats to our national security. I strongly oppose this reckless withdrawal of our troops when we are so close to achieving regional stability with the pacification of the hostile Maurian government...

Kharzal: [Turning to Vitale] What do you think, friend? Should we make ourselves known now, or wait for this man, who clearly loves the sound of his own voice, to finish his diatribe and retreat to a more...private location?

Vitale smiles as he observes Ondine’s self-centrism. He snickers as he listens to it. Vitale considers it almost humorous how little Ondine’s actually done in order to get an ego as over-bloated as this. He then looks at Kharzal, smirking before he speaks.

I suppose when he’s less busy. I want to have a personal talk with him. One in which he preferably is begging for his life as I list his faults, his failures, his weaknesses, and the reason why I can’t stand people like him. What an absolutely fascinating disconnect a man like him has between people liking and respecting him. He sounds like every other bureaucrat, egotistical and unable to think beyond the small scale of his own fate.

Vitale smirks at Ondine, his disapproval of politicians like the Defense Minister clearly evident on his face. Vitale’s hand gestures show this is someone he cannot stand, even in mere passing. He stares at Kharzal, waiting for the opportunity to present itself.

I was thinking we could also slow the pace of the RPs down. It's fun to have rapid back-and-forths when things get intense but keeping that up can be a bit overwhelming. It'll also give us a chance to come up with longer-form, potentially more substantive posts each turn. Imma try to limit myself to at the very most one post a day and see how things go.

[The doppleganger, seeing Nol beginning to check around the convoy, slinks back into the shadows as Amatheia directs it to retreat. Despite it being essentially a component of herself, and controlling it is as easy as lifting a finger on her part, she enjoys allowing some degree of consciousness in some of her puppets - if only to carry out a conversation with the only person important enough to merit such dialogue.]

Doppleganger: [Half in Amatheia's voice, half in the tortured voice of its original owner] Why did you leave the abomination? Surely there's nothing you would like better than to tear her apart right now.

Amatheia: Surely, dearest. But the time is not right. They are on guard, protected. Besides, if Eldest Sister is looking for me, such an attack would give me away.

Doppleganger: We wouldn't want that.

Amatheia: [Shakes her head] I will need leverage if I am ever going to risk coming face-to-face with her again. [She delves part of her consciousness into the abyss, checking on her tethers and wards as though doing a mechanical inspection on a valued piece of equipment] I should be untraceable. Kharzal and that d*mned pet of hers shouldn't be able to find me. Besides, they have their hands full with other things right now... [She smiles] I just have to let things play out for now. Patience, dearest.

Doppleganger: Yes, dearest.

Kharzal: [Grins wickedly] I look forward to your...conversation. It will be the first time in a very long time this man will know true fear. [Turning back to face the ongoing meeting] Look, he's still going.

Ondine: [Gesticulating dramatically as he raises his voice] ...if I am selected for the position of Deputy Prime Minister, I solemnly swear to use all my leverage for the benefit of the organization. All State Security concerns will be my concerns, and rest assured they will end up on Seph- er, the Prime Minister's desk. [Slamming his fist on the table for dramatic effect] Enough with appeasement! Enough with this ridiculous, so-called "anti-corruption" drive! The government will not forget that our organization has had the final say in all state matters long before they were elected, and will continue to do so long after they are voted out of office! [He looks around at those gathered around the table expectantly] Do I have your support?

[There is a general murmur of assent, and some present begin clapping. Director-General Coridón is barely concealing a grimace on her face, but applauds with cold politeness nonetheless.]

Coridón: Very well. The organization will back your candidacy, and pull all strings necessary for the Prime Minister to make the appointment. This meeting is adjourned.

[There is the scuffle of sliding chairs and footsteps as the officials gather their papers and begin to leave. Ondine, striding confidently, is the first to exit, with his assistant scurrying trying to keep up. Kharzal beckons, and the trio follow their target - up several flights of steps, down a hallway, past a pair of grand oak doors. Ondine's office is lavish - medals and decorations hang upon the wall, along with portraits of him smiling and shaking hands with numerous senior officials. The Defense Minister makes his way to his desk, lighting up a cigar.]

Ondine: [To his assistant] Send a request to convene the government immediately. The sooner we get this vote over with, the sooner I can give Sephynne a piece of my mind. [His assistant nods hurriedly and rushes over to a much smaller side desk, where he begins tapping out an email.]

Kharzal: Time for the show. [She drops the veil.]

Nol breathes a sigh of relief, the check and the moments of calm they were having was a needed one. From what he'd heard the government is already planning talks of reparations, how that'd be achieved...well. That'd be for the other members of the LDC to worry about, his job here is to ensure nothing goes kaput while the assignment of their replacements would be prepared.

Taking a seat in the driver's seat of one vehicles of the convoy, he proceeded to close his eyes. 'Sephynne is taking long with that...'

---

Meanwhile...somewhere at Lorenial.

"Wake up sleepyhead, we're at the shore." Hersiliah nudges Luca. A light smirk echoes Hersiiah's face, she couldn't begin to imagine how tired the girl was. To the point she slept through that fiasco of a battle. Thankfully, Nol came through and stopped the angelans from making things tenser than it should've been. As the after batttle mood was...

"Admiral, we can't let them go like that! Those bugs deserve to die for what they did to my squadron!" The captain of the f14 air group, Kif shouts at the Admiral.

The admiral couldn't help but look torn at the sight, "1st lieutenant, while I understand your sentiment, this is not a fight that should've happened. Nor are we gonna let those lives be in vain."

"Tch, yet here we are facing away at the enemy, with our tails between our legs! Us pilots were supposed to be the pride of the military! Yet, we didn't even get a bandit down!" Kif pushes back, his voice filled with anger and shame.

"Which was our goal to begin with-" Kif was about to shout before a the admiral's cane sparks with electricity. 'A mage?!'

"This force isn't built on the principle of open water combat, advanced as some of our tech may be." His voice thunders before calming down." It was built on asymmetric warfare, not this situation."

"If you think I like the deaths of my own men, then I shoud've had you lot fly directly towards their AA and have your compartments Shut! So unless you have any more complaints, you are to report back. TO. YOUR. STATION." The admiral closes in, mere inches from Kif, as if asking him to take a shot.

Kif's face didn't compromise, yet a part of him was shocked at the admiral's words. "Yes sir." He gritted his teeth and exited the bridge. As he does, Hersiliah walks in, her face a bit amused.

The admiral scoffs at this. "You better be right with that theory of yours...." He eyes Hersiliah, much as he didn't want to admit. He blames the LDC for roping them in, but even then it was their duty to help them.

A lot happened in that bridge, but she could tell the opposition party is gonna have a field day with the news...'Oh by speak of the devil. ' A news helicopter can be seen hovering above the docks they were going to dock on.

OOC: *breaks out of second hiatus* Back fellas! I'll posting where i left off. sorry for any hold ups i might've caused just was a hectic chain of events lol. be back soon!

"Hmm...a lot but I'd think you would get an idea later or so." She pats her head, a warm smile leaves hersiliah's face. "For now, we're gonna wait till the crowd goes away, I'd rather not have any media spotlight on either of us". As the video plays a monologue starts, "Hello you two~ long time no see, If you're seeing this then one of my missions failed to redirect things into a more...asymmetric approach towards our mutual...acquaintances." Kalia's voice echoes, as the video plays. One key difference with Lorenial's copy of said video was that it was more enhanced, with the faces clearly being seen. "I must say, wolfie did a good job taking this video from the Lorenial's hand, they didn't even notice her hacking into it." As she says that, the video shows Saveth's transformation and the stabbing.

"I'm giving you this information to keep such individuals like them in check, this world could use less chaos as.." the monologue pauses, as the video shows a bright light ending the recording. "There are grey storms brewing in a section of this universe, you would all need to be ready and united when that time comes." She says in a sollemn and grim tone.

"Before we left the system, there's hidden clues between this video recording~ See you two nameless." The audio stops, leaving Pharia and Calyré both intrigued and confused.

(the long delayed continuation!!) 9 AM.

The order sekuratii were huddled next to the door of the meeting room. they loud arguing from the two ambassadors, both from the order and the Grays. it was 30 or so minutes before the doors opened and the Gray ambassador would storm out to his ship. the sekuratii would turn their heads towards the Order diplomat. on his face they could see the grim expression betray his expression. without having to say anything the order diplomat had already conveyed what was going to happen... War was unavoidable.
