A EDF turncoat soldier guarding a weapons depot in Eos opened fire on his unsuspecting colleagues killing 8 EDF servicemen and 2 civilian workers before setting fire to the depot and stealing a cargo truck and driving to a nearby street festival before a proper response could be mustered. He drove uninhibited through a crowd for over a mile killing 93 including 12 more soldiers as well as wounding 584 more civilians and soldiers before being shot and killed.
Meanwhile the fire at the depot spread to the munitions and detonated in a massive explosion killing 15 firefighters and 4 civilians and wounding hundreds more.
