The Golden Throne Room of Ethnon is a titanic, safe nation, ruled by Marcus Antonius with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, daily referendums, and pith helmet sales. The compassionate population of 18.151 billion Ethnonians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Environment. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Moral High Ground. The average income tax rate is 99.1%.

The frighteningly efficient Ethnonian economy, worth a remarkable 3,925 trillion Tetradrachms a year, is quite specialized and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an amazing 216,282 Tetradrachms, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The cruise missile launchers on the field hospital roof are purely deterrent in purpose, the arms industry is strictly regulated, teen parties are often ruined by wet blanket chaperones, and diplomatic missions typically end with a flurry of childish insults, accusations and phlegm. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ethnon's national animal is the Bee, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is A Pantheon of Gods.

Ethnon is ranked 2,304^th in the world and 110^th in The North Pacific for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 108.24 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
